Most of you speak English, but some people find it difficult to understand your English, have you wondered, Why? It’s your English Accent. Having a regional accent is not a crime, you will always have regional accent as English is not your native language. But, the question is can you reduce your English accent and get rid of the Mother Tongue Influence (MTI) while speaking English. The answer is ‘Yes’, you can with practice. Learning vowel sounds is the fist step toward reducing your accent and improving English pronunciation.
In this English pronunciation lesson, you will learn 12 English vowel sounds. Practice these sounds with me and try to repeat it with me. In the next lesson I will cover consonant sounds in English.

The session was really amazing as usual... Thank you Hridhaan sir.
It is very very helpful for me to understand Vowel sound to how to articulate , that's an amazing vedio .
Sir, This is the first time I ever understand how to pronounce vowel sounds correctly.Instead of simply saying a,ah,uh which I cannot understand, you have written them like which is the long vowel sound corresponding to the short vowel sound. GREAT Sir. MAY GOD BLESS YOU ABUNDANTLY.
Great lecture familiarizing with those phonetic symbols and sounds of those words. Keep it up.
Amazing way to present the chart of vowel sounds. Bless you!
The example of 'under' given for the schwa/ə (uh - unstressed) sound is incorrect. That word is pronounced with ^ (uh - stressed) sound. Only the latter part of the word is pronunced with 'ə' sound. So the phonetic transcription of the word Under is /^n-dər/. I am 100% confident of this and one can also verify it on the web. Thank you.
Correct
