Kuan Zhai Alley! History & Food, Chengdu Sichuan China 🇨🇳

Hey fans!
Welcome to Chengdu in Sichuan. Seriously awesome city, this one! In today's installment there's a history lesson from the 1700s, Qing Empire and their invasion of Tibet. The troops involved from the 'Eight Banners' are housed in Kuan Zhai Alley in Chengdu, that's where I do my eating. It's a cool, renovated, historic district in the city, full of tea houses, courtyards, bars and restaurants......oh and naturally there's street food.
I hit up some 'Mapu Tofu', then I get a taste for Sichuan cured meats including 'Sichuan Sausage' and 'Sichuan Cured Pork Belly' spoiler, both incredible. Finally I hit another 'Crispy Beef Pattie' but this time it's Sichuan flavoured.
There's an easter egg too, I put it in for Nathan, 'for you' too if you like Easter eggs. (If you know, you know!)
