In today's video I’m taking on the pantry! It used to be an organized space but slowly as clutter blindness set in, the monster grew and before I knew it, it was a bit of a mess.
Seeing as it’s the beginning of summer break and my kids are home, I figure I need to get a handle on this situation before it really spins out of control. 😮
Here are the basic steps I took:
✔️ empty the pantry completely
✔️ dust and vacuum the shelves and floor
✔️ wash the current containers
✔️ line the chipped shelves with shelf paper
✔️ refill the containers
✔️ add in new containers
✔️ organize the containers by like items (zones)
✔️ label!
What a difference that made! ✨
There’s still plenty of space in the pantry if I should need it, but I prefer a more simple look. We don’t backstock too much so it isn’t really necessary to store items that may end up going to waste.
