After some family tragedies, loss of employment and the pandemic, I am now back to trying to get back into shape and be healthy again. This time I decided to take a personalized meal plan from Next Level Diet, and even hire a personal trainer to make sure I don’t cause injury to my 54 year old body with all my limitations from past accidents and age. He's definitely bigger than ever here, even if it's not obvious in the first place. He obviously didn't gain 20 pounds of muscles, it's more in the definition & the general leanness (his body fat also looks lower than ever). He prolly ate as much as he said he did while upping his PEDs intake (including high doses of clenbuntrol or similar products), and throwing some diuretics in the mix.
@@RedneckBigot CGI
@@holliswilliams8426 I doubt it. Guys like him and Chris Hemsworth who are, regardless of the drugs they take, legit fitness monsters, would not rely on CGI. Have a look at their posts over the social networks. It's not about which filter they use. Same than the participants to Mister Olympia. Most days, professional bodybuilders don't look nearly as good as they do on stage. RE chicken breast - just invest in a meat thermometer. It’s all you need. Chicken breast isn’t dry, it’s incredible. People just overcook it. RE why these interviews are never on video, it’s easier to “get” high profile celebs via written interview. I used to work for a celebrity PR firm. Text-only interviews are done via email. The reporter sends a list of questions, which are then answered by a publicist with variations of stock answers (from a database compiled from transcribed live interviews). If you want super high profile interviews but aren’t a super high profile outlet? Send the publicist an email…

Pro wrestling is effectively trying to compete in a gymnastics meet, while keeping a fitness model physique. Some wrestlers don't do one as much as the others, but you'd be surprised how athletic even the chonk bois are. Man, I grew up seeing these actors and stuff talk about their fitness and as a 100% natty guy I had to grow out of thinking I could look like The Rock. Which is funny because he and I actually have very similar body types, especially if you look at old photos of him in his early days. I obviously don’t workout like him or eat like him. But it used to be so confusing because I didn’t know what steroids did exactly. Anyways my point is that I have never seen Dwayne come out and give specifics about what kind of dose he’s on/what substances he uses. We need to be honest about it. I don’t see professionals using substances to get the results they want as a bad thing or morally evil. It’s no different than musicians using drugs to dig up inspiration for their songs in my opinion. But we all know professional musicians are high as shit most of the time.

Some dude I work with just tried to tell me The Rock isn’t on steroids 20 min later, this shows up in my recommendeds. Divine timing.
1. GEAR
2. GEAR
3. Tell everyone it's due to hard work and lots of chicken broccoli and rice
I wonder how much longer the Rock can “preserve” his stature. If he is on steroids which im pretty sure he is, how much longer can his body handle his mass and the supplements.lastly when he finally comes off forever if that’s possible how will he look, and feel
He’s natural
@@tioswift3676 did you not listen the entire time
@@tioswift3676 lmao
He can probably hold more then you think on high trt doss
At what point would his heart fail him?
If he stayed natty he probably would have lived in to his mid to late 80s. Stays active, never had any drug or alcohol abuse issues, never had really high bodyfat, etc...
Now? Early to mid 60s.
@@liamengram6326 Lmao. Okay. We wanna bet on it ? I say the Rock won't die a day Older than 73
He has the money and isn’t a dumb dumb. Look at Stallone.
no way dude is blasting that much or he already woulda died
@@teamtjulfar betting on people's deaths is the literal definition of morbidity so no thanks. I don't believe in karma, but if it did exist I think that's the type of thing it might focus on.
I laughed out loud when he said gear HAHAHAHHAHAHA
Derek look like a muscular version of Rick Astley
4:01 sleep apnea city 😂😂 I almost spit out my coffee hearing that. Is that a wrestling move?
This might be the most Dialed in physique we’ve ever seen from the Rock lean Af hard grainy and Jacked. He really is real life Black Adam.
Also I think 8000 calories is just insane there’s no way he’s doing that much
Yeah I don't believe it. That's so much fucking food. You'd have to run like 60 miles a day to burn that all off and still be ripped.
@@chadzard4 not to mention the guy is 50
The guy is like 6’2 and 260 give or take. He was needing to pack on size, as well as running top end gear on the side. 8000cals doesn’t seem that absurd. I’d say he was probs on those cals for a good chunk of time before bringing them down to lean out more, but he isn’t going to go into the nuances of his diet in an interview like this.
I’m 6’3, 182 - I can put away 4000 calories in a day EASY! I don’t do it because I’ll be a fat ass, but I’ve done it very easily before. Another 2-3000 a day if I was his size? I can easily imagine doing that
brian shaw at 440lbs half a foot taller than the rock and training every bit as intensely barely goes 8000 unless hes building up to a comp ....zero chance the rock is eating up to 8000 cals a day of clean food as his interview implies
He probably eats 3k-4k calories a day. These guys always exaggerate their calories and training. Hemsworth once said he was eating 5k calories and it turned out it was 3.4k calories.
doesn't the rock have to eat more than that for his size especially since he was prepping for this role while being on gear? Am pretty sure the rock is on at least 6000 calories a day when prepping for this role at his size
Honestly wouldn't shock me if he bulked on 6k dude is massive and active as fuck
@@kimberly4275 Chris Bumstead is Mr. O and he doesn't eat that much. The Rock isn't even a competitive bodybuilder.
@@JangoBlader Ronnie Coleman ate 5k calories and he's A LOT bigger than The Rock.
@@josearmando726are powerlifters usually on more? I think that Thor guy from game of thrones said he was on 10,000 calories a day but he is like 6ft 8 compared to the rock who is 6ft 3. I think the rock is on minimum 5000 calories. I don't know much about his steroid usage though which contribute to his size
The Rock's body peaked in 2002 IMO.
Fitting he is doing a breakdown of a cartoon character, considering the Gattling gun delts he himself has in his thumbnail.
He looks more like a cartoon super hero that any I've ever seen.
Stud.
thanks for sponsor derek! Can't wait to have good logs again!
I love Dwayne Johnson as an inspiration to people but he is literally a complete lie to what he stands for.
He was famous for saying he won’t comply to Hollywood but that’s exactly what he does.
Facts, He’s a joke. He’s built up a naive fan base though lmao
@@babyhoho6745 he’s a good man but it’s all false.
what about him is a lie? you still have to work hard to get the physique he has. made a hard and succesful transition from wrestler to actor, and to start with a lot of producers wanted him to slim down, because they didn't think people would buy tickets for a bodybuilder type actionstar.
@@BilboB missed the point
@@BilboB you’re confusing having accomplishments for being a good person
DJ has some next level work ethic. Props to the guy. Insane world leading dedication and effort. (As well as the sauce)
If you follow the Rock he isn't joking.... He eats a lot and he workout a lot. he even has a trailer that has a full set of gym equipments that goes wherever he go
I was laughing the whole time every time you brought up the gear lol
I can't wait to watch Black Adam. He's definitely 1 of My favorite characters of the DC World... The Trailor looks amazing.
