Can't wait to see him in Luke Cage and his second season with a whole new showrunner.

Yeah, I thought the general consensus was that, while most could UNDERSTAND what the actor and director were going for with Diamondback (ie, an over-the-top Blaxploitation-style villain), it really just didn't gel properly.
The season lost a lot the moment Cottonmouth died. Diamondback felt like too much of a typical comic book villain. I just could not empathize with him like I did Cottonmouth.
Killing off Stokes and replacing him with Diamondback was a huge mistake. I hope we get more Mariah and less Diamondback this season cuz at least Alfre Woodard is a talented actress. Also, "coffee" with Mike Colter would be amazing I imagine

He can tell the cops that Luke is a convict and he can have Luke sent to jail prematurely with no hope of his innocence being proven, which would ruin Luke's chance of showing up in The Defenders. Also, I find it funny that everyone is talking about Mariah now, when ironically she was largely ignored by fans, covered in Cottonmouth's shadow back when season 1 and The Defenders were fresh, everyone was like "praise Cottonmoth, diss Diamondback", no one said a word about Mariah, even though she proves to be more open minded and intelligent than her cousin.
