Scouting may need to be the focus of spending between now and the next transfer window as the lack of scouts and a scouting network of any kind really made it difficult to find good young players. The veterans you brought in though did start improving the performance and hopefully after they fully bed in their leadership will bring results. Liked the long form, but the short form works well for seasonal updates.
you know , that American striker you signed on a free might develop into a good backup option as a poacher/AF if you don't sell him. I think you definitely improved the squad for the short term and long term in that window.
