In past FMs determination was the easiest attribute to get up through mentoring so I would go ahead and sign that elite talent winger/striker and stick him in a great mentoring group of highly determined players. Also, several great prospects on the defensive minded side in this intake.
Again, cashing in on a player who was probably not going to resign is good business. Him going to France and not helping one of the Portuguese Big 3 is a bonus. His departure does create an opening for your American signee who seems to be tearing it up in the B-team level.
