I was very impressed with the ferry and terminal in Bacolod City too my brother. It made our travel comfortable. It’s always nice when you go inside a building and you feel cool air in the Philippines. 😁
Thank you my friend. I got to eat at Aida’s chicken inasal; I’m a happy camper every time I get to eat my favorite food. 😁 We always enjoy visiting your hometown.
Mount Kanlaon actually erupted as we were getting on the 3:20pm ferry back to Iloilo City. It was just a day trip for Dazel and I to Bacolod. We wanted to guide our good friend, Tony, to Bacolod because he had never taken the ferry before. Plus, a chance for me to eat Aida’s chicken inasal. I’m a foodie; and will travel for my favorite food. 😁
@@billlloyd9755 I’m doing good my friend. I’m drinking my morning coffee. Will go on my morning walk around 5:30am. Nice and cool here; currently 77 degrees Fahrenheit. 😁 Yes; you can purchase a round-trip open ticket if you want. You just need to arrive 45 minutes before the scheduled ferry time to get your seat. Keep in mind during any holidays though, more people travel, so might be harder to travel on an open ticket. Take care my friend.
Ginno ..I just read where the Philippine Government is giving you and Dazel "frequent travel miles" for promoting tourism in the Philippines 🤪 Thanks fir another GREAT Video brother. Stay safe!!!
I stopped carrying a pocket knife or a Swiss Army knife when I moved to the Philippines. Chances are high it will get confiscated here. At airports, at ferry terminals, at malls, etc. I had a regular plastic ballpen confiscated from me once. Anything that can be used as a weapon can be confiscated here. Just think like you are in prison; any sharp object is a weapon. 😁
@@dazeltv1351 Thanks for the heads-up, my friend! I knew that you cannot take a pocket knife on the MRT/LRT trains in Manila, but I was not sure about the ferries, and did not know about the malls. I would hate for my Swiss Army pocket knife to get confiscated, as it is one of my most useful everyday carry tools. Do you know if you can transport a knife in your check-in luggage, on a domestic flight or on a long-distance bus?
@@michaeltakayama8415 You’re welcome my friend. I don’t know if you are allowed to have a knife in your checked-in luggage. I just know they view a knife here like they view a gun. It’s a deadly weapon here; not advisable to carry anywhere.
@@dazeltv1351 I will check with the airlines & buslines. Hmm.... I thought that a lot of Filipinos in the provinces regularly carried bolos, as a general-purpose tool, as well as to deal with snakes. Don't most Filipino kids know how to open a coconut using a bolo? I'm a bit surprised that they would view a knife, as they would a firearm. What about carrying any sort of a stick, such as a walking cane or selfie stick? Escrima is a popular Filipino martial art form, after all, which makes a stick into a much more deadly weapon than a knife, or a ball-point pen.
@ You can carry a “bolo” (machete) when you are in the rice fields, farms, and coconut fields. But, I have not seen anyone carry one in town or in public. A walking cane or a wooden stick should be fine.
@@billlloyd9755 The port in Iloilo City is for passengers only. Vehicles go on a different port in Dumangas, Iloilo. About 45 minutes away from Iloilo City. Iloilo City would be a long ride on Bumblebee; at least 6 hours. We’ve never taken Bumblebee anywhere more than 2 hours away. 6 hours on Bumblebee would be tough ride. 😁
Yes; you may travel with a small pet (in a pet carrier) on the small ferry. If you take the big ferry like 2Go from Aklan to Batangas, your pet may also travel with you. If you have a private cabin; your pet is allowed to be outside your door in a pet carrier. If you don't have a private cabin, your pet will be placed in an area for pets (with the luggage). No direct trip from Manila to Aklan. Only Batangas to Aklan. Here is a link to our Aklan to Batangas trip on the ferry: ruclips.net/video/Kd1yRM9VQhk/видео.html

Hi Dazle and Ginno Thank You for sharing the tour and boat ride, and to think I didn't even get sea sick 😂😂😂 God Bless You All and Your Family Too 🙏
You’re welcome our friend. Some waves on the ferry; but not too bad. We didn’t get sea sick. 😁 Take care and God bless.
