I also have a story of conversion myself. I am a catholic but was a lukewarm catholic. Until God gave me a daughter with Down syndrome and through her I found love and peace through Jesus Christ. My life changed from that moment. Thanks be to God.

Thank you Joel. I'm praying fervently for my sweet wonderful Israeli Jewish roommate & all her Jewish friends. She's gone to church with me a couple of time usually for the Christmas play & even stopped swearing with Jesus's Name. So there's hope but this message was very encouraging. Joel that was beautiful! Just this morning I had an opportunity to witness to a Jewish person online. I've been so excited all morning. I keep thinking about what the bible says : What Satan means for evil, God will bring for good. Oct. 7th was meant for evil and now through that tragedy more Jewish people are on Christian broadcasting getting the truth so there's opportunities to speak truth. It makes me filled with joy! An exciting testimony of your parents and your father's journey reminds me of one of my favourite books; "Abandoned" by Stan Telchin . He started off wanting to convince his daughter what a mistake she was making.... suprise!! To say that you converted to Christianity does not sit well with me. In accepting Yeshua as your Messiah have you not become completed Jews ...or Messianic Jews ? That I find so thrilling and God must rejoice because that is what He wants all Jews to do. I am not Jewish but God in His wisdom put me into a Bible study group that studied in a very Jewish way and we had in our group a Jewish mother and daughter who loved Yeshua. In fact the mother reminded me of Jonah; she was quite "funny" about sharing Yeshua with us ! As a result of those early studies I still follow several Messianic Jewish teachers and study the weekly Torah portion. I am indeed blessed.
I pray for God's protection for you all in Israel as we watch each stage unfold. Blessings to you.

Hi Joel being person with a Jewish lineage you ought to be grateful why? Bec the scripture says. Salvation is of the Jew. If u only knew the future of being a Jew especially in the mellinium when govt Christ is establish on the earth the gentile people who are survivors of the great tribulation will urge every Jew to help them learn the laws the statutes and how to execute them as Christ is already sitting in the throne of David in Jerusalem reigning on the earth for 1000 yrs.
To my fellow Jews, follow the path that G-d gave you to reach him. Part of the path we share with our Christian brothers but not all. They have their duties and we have ours. When a Jew tries to be a Christian, he is neither a Jew or a Christian. Appreciate what we do have in common. We are stronger when we march together knowing our particular roles. Note a Sephardic Jew is required to eat Legumes on Passover. An Ashkenazi Jew can't eat Legumes which are considered like eating bread. Both Sephardic and Askenazim are Jews, but they have different roles.

War is the result of sin! The only answer is Yeshua! As a follower of Yeshua I know that I'm not to fight against someone but the bible says in the book of Romans that a government has a duty to protect it's people. I used to be just like you and listen to world news and believe everything that the world says but the world will not tell the truth. The world has an agenda and it's not for the good of people.
The Israeli's were attacked and from what I can ascertain if Hamas would release the hostages then the war would be over. There was peace on Oct.6th even though the Israeli's daily had to hide in bomb shelters because of rocket attacks. It was the result of Oct.7th that has caused the misery in the Gazans lives. I don't hate the Gazans , I don't support terrorism and Hamas isn't doing any favors to their people.
After the war there's Arab Christians that are planning on going into Gaza to minister there and I'm going to support them. Elohim will bring good out of this conflict.
