Maybe you should read galatians chapter 1 where Paul lays out how anyone teaching any other gospel except the one they preached, is cursed..........even if it was an angel that told them. He made the point by repeating it twice. The book of James also says that if you want to live by the law, you become a debtor to fulfill the ENTIRE law. The law is not made for a righteous man, and cannot produce righteousness.......all it can produce is the knowledge of sin. But if you want to hold on to your commandments, make sure you're living the other 480+ commandments perfectly as well. If you break just one, you're guilty of breaking the whole law, and the penalty is death. Its not about keeping the law.....it's about walking in the Spirit.
This is why we are saved by grace. Jesus Christ is our sabbath. He is our rest, from our own works, and our own attempts at self-salvation. No day is esteemed over another. If you understood God's grace, instead of legalism, you would know this.
