what worked with ryam rems' sets is that his humor has range. it could be the most absurd to the most deepest. others had context, while some was pure shallows. plus, i think his catchphase "rock and roll to the world" really helped him build up his deadpan jokes.
This is the brand of comedy that we Filipinos should start appreciating...he is intellectually funny and witty without trying too hard....a great comedian is able to make people laugh with the least amount of movement, but through the words that come out of his mouth.
