I have only heard this song when I listened to my LP of the same name. I no longer have my LP collection so it‘s good to hear it again. I enjoyed the simple light show in the video. I was listening to this LP about 30 years ago when my husband came home with a friend. “Your finally listening to some good music instead of that BLEEP Cliff Richard.” the friend exclaimed. This person was always criticizing me for being a Cliff Richard fan. He could not believe it when I told him it was Cliff Richard. At their request I played the LP for them. They liked all the songs on the LP, but their favorite song was Start All Over Again. The friend got his guitar out of his car, while my husband set up his bass guitar. They spend over an hour trying to learn the song. While the friend never became a Cliff Richard fan, he stopped criticizing my taste in music. As one of your American born fans (yes we are here) I would like to wish you a Happy 79th Birthday Sir Cliff.
Just realised I had never heard the full album and honestly it's really good. First rate musicians playing and fantastic vocals from Cliff. The many people who hate and criticise have never really listened to a fair sample of his output!
I have played this everyday up my local for last six months prior to UK virus lockdown. Bar staff all singing along with me whilst I do my Cliff moves in the style of Cliff's devil woman video. Slow process but converting the locals, including fans of the Elvis guy. The genius that is Sir Cliff Richard.
I'm never watch this in the RUclips, thank you very much my dearest Cliff💋 Wishing you have a happy birthday on Oct. 14! With or without a sunglasses, you still a handsome boy 👍
Great song that somehow much of the UK record buying public missed. But I bought it! Beautifully produced and it also employs an unusual structure where the chorus opens the song.
I know he is such a classic rock n' roll head but i'm glad his artistic soul pushed him to release more progressive music. All instruments are so juicy in this song!
Video fantasmagorico, originale e sorprendente, dal quale emerge anche stavolta un Cliff Richard, nella sua matura professionalità di Cantante, che nel Mondo ha pochi rivali in una ipotetica classifica.-Very, Very well, Cliff.
Wish I could go back to those days - Driving around some city at night in a 3 litre Ford Capri with the leopard skin seats, fluffy steering wheel cover, furry dice hanging from the mirror, me smelling of Brut 33 or Hi Karate, windows wound down blasting this tune or maybe a bit of Steely Dan, Sad Cafe or Gerry Rafferty. . . . Ahhhhhhh, happier, simpler times.
I love this period in his career, from this album to silver, he sat behind me at a Toto gig at the Hammersmith Odeon in 1984, I couldn't believe it lol
...had a boyfriend who had a similar look around the same time with his regular glasses- real nice without them too a bit like cliff I thought- old memories now
Competition was harsh in these days so it stayed a bit under the radar and like always if cliff rocks the major crowd ignores him the only reason why this wasn't the major hit song !
Woah, never knew that Cliff Richard was a dead ringer for Lundbergh from Office Space. That said, incredible song. The guitar work weaves in around halfway through the song and takes it to a cool place. Actually, quite a Clapton tone to it.
Strange this was on Get It Together on this date when it was already heading down the chart. I guess he was already pre-booked weeks in advance and they thought it might be higher in the charts at this time. It should have been as it was one of his best singles of this era.
I remember seeing this video back in '79. A great song, should have been a much bigger hit. But it sort of showed the way... Alan Tarney would shortly be responsible for Cliff's biggest hit!
Not a a big cliff fan 36 years old but I love this track and album. Like his early Shadows era Brian Bennett excelent drummer. But Cliff he's still going good. Has a Gerry Rafferti vibe about the track. I heard it on the radio and wondered I l9ve the base line and synth touch. Would love to hear a more New Wave electro version of this track it has potential. Great track.
I remember this song from 1979, when I was a child. I could not remember the name, or the lyrics but knew it one of my favourite Cliff Richard songs.
One of my favorite songs and album during the late 70s!
The Green Light album is absolutely gorgeous.🌟
Haven't heard that song in ages. Thanks Sir Cliff!

I love Cliff's videos! I wish there were more of them from the 70s, 80s and 90s!

Must admit this isn't one of my favourite songs, but I love the performance! The Green Light album is one of my absolute favourite albums.

That's a very different song from you Sir Cliff. You're like a crouching tiger - and those psychedelic lights reminds me of the 60s LSD days. Ha ha.
Cool 😎
