    This is 1979 to a tee. Say what you want about ol' Cliff but this is without doubt his best tune and deservedly went to No1 in the UK charts. And it reinforces my view as to why 1979 is one of the greatest years for music......ever.

    It recently came to my attention that Cliff Richard and John Lennon were the same age. I can't help but compare the two of them at this age - 39 in 1979 and 40 in 1980. Poor Lennon looked 60 and Cliff looks young and happy. This may be the perfect little pop song. I love it.

    That bass line just flows so well. Minimal lead guitar allows the whole piece to accentuate the vocals and keyboards. It surely is a great pop song. Respect Sir Cliff.

      Na verdade, começou a tocar na metade de 1979 no rádio. Eu tive o disco. Até meados,dos anos 90 estivemos bem servidos de música. Dali pra frente, só garimpando alguma coisa que presta, e normalmente do pessoal mais antigo.

    It's a pity that Sir Cliff never really cracked America (though his label EMI didn't help) - but it's worth noting that he became the first artist to register Billboard Top 40 hits in 4 decades (50s, 60s, 70s & 80s). In time, I hope he will be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.

    Love this song love his voice. I was going through a break up when this was released (similar reasons) and couldn’t listen to it. Now it’s just wonderful and although I remember that time, I can just listen and enjoy Cliff’s fantastic voice.
