They were a good band
I am so proud of this band. When they came out I thought no one else but me would like them. Not because they aren't amazing but because metalheads got very non-traditional around 2000. With the resurgence of classic metal about 2004 the world got a chance to hear them. Hail Canada because you sure can breed em'. \m/
I think they got into scene a bit too early. Then again carrying the flag to battle never being a losers but staying to your guts sign. Horns up!

Epic heavy metal, you guys have that classic sound and I love the Lead Singers voice it's so powerful. Tasty riffs and Lead Guitar parts, thumping Drums and pounding Bass. Keep on rocking out my friends, you guys rule! 🔥🤘🙌👍👏👊🎶🔥

3 Inches of Blood is the only contemporary Heavy Metal band worth listening to (apart from the good old classics). All other metal bands are posers, wannabes or try to be as brutal as can get. F**k that! Pure old school Heavy Metal! Keep it up guys!

I wish there were more Thrash type bands with the awesomeness 3 Inches of Blood had!!! Simple and straight forward!!! No one can top this band's seriousness and the main Vocalist Cam and his Chip-munk Tone that can never be duplicated ever!!! It stood out and even though the 2nd Vocalist (The hardcore dude with the glasses) only made the 1st 2 albums, the combo was the best then I thought. Classic!!!
They are definitly raw, but I dont think they are Thrash Metal... Again, fuck labels, but it sounds like 90s Heavy Metal to me, you know, with all the thrash/powermetal influence already

I'm not sure I understand the flack the band is getting for this song/their new album; yes this sounds a bit more 80's metal than their other material, but I've always found 3IOB to be a band that you just have fun, let go and escape to rather than anything truly groundbreaking that you take too seriously. Which is why I think this song and video are just plain AWESOME!!
Then I thirst heard this track I thought it was a song from the 80's I've somehow never heard before, I was very surprised that it was from 2010's, too bad I wanted to add it to may 80's playlist :(
I've been a fan of these guys since the mid 2000s, Long Live Heavy Metal was one hell of a swan song before their breakup. Honestly it's one of my favorite albums from them, and I hope they play the fuck out of it at their reunion shows next month \m/
This sounds like Accept, music and vocals, but thats not a bad thing. This style of metal is a dying breed and i'm glad there are bands like this keeping it alive. Great song!

If you guys like this, check the finnish band called Battle Beast if you don't know them already. They play similiar kind of metal and vocals sound incredibly alike. (+ it's a woman singing.)

It goes, 11(G)-11(D)-13(G)-14(G)-11(G)-11(D)-11(G)-14(B), then repeat. There is a 12(D) in there as well instead of a 11(D) on I believe the last two repeats, but I can't really figure it out for sure. Then the last time goes 12(D)-13(G)-14(G)-9(G)-11(D)-13(G)-12(G).

Fire Up the Blades was soooo good, but they are still fun to listen too. They just don;t seem to have quit the overall sound anymore.
