I bought the X3's at the end of last summer, they are OK at best, for me at least. I don't find them very comfortable, just kind of average for the price.
Yeah, they're not a "must have" shoe for most, tbh. I find On shoes to be wicked hit or miss and I don't love the durability of most of their models for the price.
Ayyy, that means the world! Thank you. I do! Any time you need to find specific models just search something like, "xero shoes glenn that fit friend"! Article: thatfitfriend.com/xero-shoes-glenn-review/ Video: ruclips.net/video/zdVgG5VQWIU/видео.html
for HIIT classes, would you recommend this at 150 or X3 at 100? How about Nike Free Metcon 6? I take a ton hiit classes at equinox, some barry's. get very sweaty. ideal shoe/shoes? (seen like 15 of your videos doing research, thanks for all the amazing content!)
These would be fine up to an extent. If you're open to other companies and want a hybrid-style shoe, go Inov-8 F-Fly. Just pubbed a video on them. They slap
Hey man! Thanks for the video. Could you tell me the difference between the X3 and the X3 AD models, please? 3-5 days gym workout and 3-5km cardio. Thanks a lot!
I honestly don't love the Saucony because its toe spring is so dang aggressive. Similar plush feel and bounce, but these will give you a little more range for lifting and other activities because they're not as aggressive with their pitch forward, imo
I have a full video coming out on this in the next week (already filmed), if you don't want to wait - what specifically are you trying to compare with them?
Ahh, that's impossible for me to say since injuries like that can be highly contextual and multifactoral. It would low-key be irresponsible for me to say definitively without knowing more info, and even then, a shoe alone won't necessarily be the "x factor" here to limit pain while training.
Had patellar tendonitis and undergone shock wave therapy sessions, my physio advised this model and it's doing a great job on this recovery sessions. Please not, I'm still not started the training in full swing.
I got these in my cart but I was waiting on you to review them first thanks😂
That's amazing. Please keep me posted on how you like these. I'm keen to hear the community's thoughts on this model!
I have one and for my foot type, which is flat and wide, they are the most comfortable that I have used for the GYM.
Haven't ventured into the On Cloud realm yet. These haven't convinced me to do so. Appreciate the review.

Another excellent review, you've become my dedicated shoe guy. Do you have any plans to review the Xero Glenn?

@@thatfitfriend oops, I actually commented on that video. I meant to say the similar looking Dillons.
Your reviews are very valuable, thank you.
Happy they help! Thank you for checking out the video!
You plan on making a whitin $20 loafers review?
Yeah! I’m buying a pair later this week. Traveling atm!
My number 1 quip about On is the little amount of rubber they use… Every On I had so far, durability isn’t great.
Agreed. These have more which is a plus, but the other models…my main gripe as well.

I'd go these or Nike Free Metcon 5 (can likely find them on sale atm!)!
Think you'd be great in either pair. Thank you for checking out the content!
Hi Jake, great content! If you have to choose between Nike Metcon 9 or Cloudpulse for HIIT and weightlifting, which one do you prefer more? Thank you!
It depends on thresholds there!
How heavy are you training? And thank you!
What would you recommend for myself who would like to use on for running at the gym and would do mainly free weights, cables, and bench.
These would be fine up to an extent.

AD has a different upper, a little more padding around boot. Both should be fine!
How does this compare to the Saucony Freedom Cross Sport for plyos and short runs?
I honestly don't love the Saucony because its toe spring is so dang aggressive. Similar plush feel and bounce, but these will give you a little more range for lifting and other activities because they're not as aggressive with their pitch forward, imo
Hi Do you know if the heel would fit into a Concept2 rowing machine footplate please 😃👍🏼
Should be okay, imo!
Thanks 😃👍🏼
@@Neilgoodlad Welcome!
Hope these are better then the X3's
Training-wise, they should be, but it's still On and I don't think everyone will love them, imo
How would you compare this toebox to the GoRuck rough runner?
Shoot me a DM on IG and I’ll send you a clip later!
How does it compare to on cloud x3?

A HIIT workout and daily wear
Excellent review of these shoes btw always loved your review
Are these shoes good for training with chronic patellar tendon pain?

What’s your ON recommendation for a daily shoe?
Cloud X3 or Cloud 5. Cloud 5 is comfier, but durability is meh and toe box is snug, Cloud X3 is a good travel-style training shoe.
