Do we always have to apply a top coat when we do a foil transfer, regardless of the material you used? I just received my foils and I am excited to use them. I just didn't know I had to use a top coat, so I didn't get one. :(
Yes, you should topcoat the foils to protect them - they can get scratched or damaged. You can use any topcoat you have, does not need to be a special product. Just check the sheen of the topcoat, they will all adjust the sheen of the foils, You can even use a Spray Varnish on them - I'm sure you can find something locally :)

I would apply at least 3 to 4 layers, depending on the product. I always recommend to follow the product recommendations!
Can this be used on furniture?
Foils can be applied to any surface including furniture - just make sure to apply a protective coat.
