This looks great but I'd need to try the action in person (not convinced by PHA 4 for the 88, unless they've tweaked it considerably). The organ section is maybe the weak link from an initial hearing, but at least there is a sub-out to go to a leslie speaker. It seems like the organ has upper and lower sections available too. If the price was materially lower than the Nord Stage 4 then I think it would be tempting for many players, me included!
Can you tell us about the supposed improvements in their EP engine? New sample sets, or new modeling aspects? Can you edit any parameters that arent on the front panel there?
sounds poor. Sounds like 2000's keyboard. The hardware is beautiful. Congratz! but man we can easily access vst with way more real instruments, don't know what those keyboard companies are doing with those cheap sounds.
Indeed, the built quality is nice 👍🏻 also the looks, that’s something I like from Roland in general … but, disappointment about the sounds especially in this price point,… the piano engine is not bad (beautiful technology)but still sounding digital (of course, I have to try this one first and maybe my opinion can change). I think this keyboard can do the job well in a band setting for sure.
Agreed, decent player but not red hot like some. Still he's a great demo guy. Doctor Mix does a good demo. Andertons will soon have a full audio demo of this board with Dan Bingers, he's a great player. I'd love to see Mike Patrick play with board but he's a Yamaha guy.
I don’t understand why this brand still using the same actor for many2 years,while another brand very creative and fun by making some kind of jam session with a lot of modern musician and also different genre. And honestly the keyboard sound still the same,just different body design and tweaking choices. 😔

Der Sound is ja grottig. Warum denken alle, daß Verzerrung in jedem Preset ein guter Sound ist. Gehen wir wieder zurück auf 8 Bit ?
I wish you would play Whiter Shade of Pale with the organ section to see how it sounds.

Ed is a nice guy. Unfortunatly he isn‘t the best player for such a demo. Have a look across the water and see for example Tony from Bonners,

I have the Roland 760 v-combo from around 2005 and it sounds better then this
