Excellent review! A couple of weeks ago, I bought a pair of SMX Plus V2 and am very pleased with them. I'm mainly focused on maximizing protection. I agree that it does take some practice to get used to shifting with the boots, but day by day it's getting better. Thanks.

heck yeah keep up the great reviews! Looking to pick up a ninja 400 soon, and I've been riding my brothers motorcycle in the meantime, using the savings to buy gear cuz like you said you can take the gear with you to which ever bike you transition to. Love my Alpinestars SMX v2 and this confirms my love for em more, have em in the white colorway to reflect max heat away from me.
I saw and sat on an r7 I instantly fell in love I want that as my future bike too.
I’m a new rider and I just got them because I wanted the best protection. I’m struggling to ride with them but I rider so much easier with normalish shoes. I don’t know if because I got big feet but yea I’m not a huge fan right now :/

Stop wearing all black switch it up where high visible colors stick out like a sore thumb so people can see you at night time I learned that the hard way

High vize does nothing for people who aren’t paying attention, You as the Ryder need to be aware of what’s around you. And high vize is ugly.

I wear a size 9 should I size down to an 8 because I heard they run slighter bigger?
