Hi MIchael, I just took delivery of my Omni 1. The build quality is excellent, as is their customer service. It produces awesome results on glass & leather. Enjoy your trip ✈️
The price is the lowest Ive seen ever for a 5watt UV laser., Ive been looking for a while and they usually go for 8-10k 😮😮 you get two lens with the system one gives you a 70mm X 70mm and the other lens is a 150mm X 150mm and you can fit and object up to 12” high on the bed with the 150x150 lens
It probably would, but they dont really offer 35watt UV lasers, you dont need that much power with UV you only really need 5-10watt, they operate completely different than fiber lasers. Stick with fiber laser to engrave deep on metals that is what they are for.,
@@LaserEngraving911 Any opinion on the difference between the Omni 1 and comparable 5w UV lasers (like the Haotioan 5w)? I am thinking about buying one but Commaker is like Xtool in terms of marketing (they are everywhere now and I don't want to drop $4k because of slick marketing).

@@davidelder5399 Thanks David!!!
Great information comparing this UV laser with CO2 and fiber.
I’m glad you found it helpful! Thanks for dropping a comment!
But ouch that base price. Especially for someone just starting. What size is the work space and depth?

Can it cut and engrave too? If so, what materials?
almost all materials and cut thin materials including glass!!
Will 35 watt uv do metal better?

Anything greater than 5w increases the cost (a lot)
