I love this performance. It’s so unique. We never get to see a solo bedroom style jam from our rock n roll heroes. And yet here is Mr. Rossdale with the most authentic and intimate experience possible. Props to Gavin and Kerrang for putting this together.
Most excellent performance! Thanks Gavin for all of the outstanding and brilliant music and performances. I saw an interview where you gave a recipe for how to make eggs in the microwave and it revolutionized how I now cook eggs. Keep rocking!
Sounds like just a Fuzz paired with a compressor pedal here (Russian Big Muff + MXR Dyna Compressor?), but it could be a number of things. There's a lot of opinions on what he used during the 'Sixteen Stone' period; Mesa/Boogie Tremoverb and/or Marshall JCM6100 Anniversary Series, 1970's Fender Twin, BOSS OD2, Bixonic Expandora, Big Muff and/or Russian Big Muff
Gavin had a big influence (talking about distortion sound) from My Bloody Valentine. As @Wes said, there it is a fuzz absolutely. Big Muff. Great pedal. Easy and effective. Plus, check out the 'Little Things MTV Springbreak' video. You can see for moments the pedals Gavin used during the Sixteen Stone era: ruclips.net/video/MwZ0jF817yI/видео.html
What an awesome talent. Can you imagine how hard it is to tone that down when your used to thrashing it? I mean Idk. He’s always been awesome but this is pretty neat
Grunge. Very Nirvana-ish, but not quite, because it has that special Gavin taste. Strange to hear this at such a personal level, as if we are right in the living room. Voice was a little strained on the high notes, naturally, many years of singing, vocal cords also age, though in your case quite gracefully. The low notes are actually better, like fine Port wine, and this is the truth. Regardless, a pleasure to listen to the intimate vibe performance - deserving of a standing ovation, as Gwen once said. Thank you.
I just listened to this whole album in 2024 it still holds up. Slaps.
I love anything that comes out of his mouth
i know it's kind of off topic but do anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online?

@@wes_m Big muff sovtek. Very basic very easy. Simply plug in and turn up. If you can't get this tone from a muff.....sell your guitar lol

Cool guy.
nice...anyone know who painted that art in the background?
No but it's a strong work and holds is own up against Gavin. I was just scowling down to see if anyone else noticed.
By the looks of it, I'm guessing a five year old
Bush X here in Canada!
