Aren’t you making this more complicated that it needs to be? You want a rootless minor 7th? Take the minor 7th root position and go up a 3rd. and boom, you got it. (Actually minor 9th, A voicing.) Move your 2ed. finger down a half a step and boom, you got the dominant 7th, A voicing.
