I had GX470 and GX460 but I went with Sequoia '23 TRD off road for my family overlanding trips. Thinking of scratching a nice Lexus was not something I could do anymore :) plus I needed the roomy space inside. I hope to see you on the SoCal trails one day!
I gotta say...it was kinda nervous hitting some of the tighter spot with pinstripes in mind. That was the other concern people had with the Lexus off roading is getting it scratch up on the trail.
From what I've seen in a few other videos the overtrail does have that 3rd row option however it doesn't have the power motor to drop the seat as it does in the premium packages. It's just manual which is fine for me.
I don't think the whole video was about comparing the Lexus to the Rav4. I simply mentioned that I like having cargo space in the back for work if needed. It was more about the off roading and overlanding capability of the Lexus that was why we took it out that day.

So cool you got invited to try those GX's out! They're almost too nice for what I'd put them through! lol.
They're too pretty for some of the terrains haha...I would hate to get the first pinstripes on them.
I wonder if the Kings on my 4Runner will still fit this generation of GX 🤔

The Overtrail trim didn't come wit the 3rd row.

Crazy that you are comparing the Lexus Gx550 to a Toyota tav4. Lexus must have missed the mark big time.
