Back when I was 18 years old I was given a 1976 Buick Skylark with an Olds 260 (4.3L OHV V8 110HP) with a 2bbl Rochester carb and a TH200 auto trans that had 34,000 miles on it. It also had an open rear diff. The absolute ONLY way I could get it to do a burnout was by putting tire shine on the treads and brake standing it. I live near Pittsburgh and that car could have a foot of snow on top of it for months, I would pump the pedal twice, turn the key, and it would fire right up. I DEFINITELY wanted to swap it out for a 350 with at least a Turbo 350 trans, but I got the car for free and I didn't know enough about engines at that time to do the work myself, so I just let it be. Besides, this was back when the original Fast and Furious came out and I was all about imports back then. I had a 1992 Acura Integra that I had already turbocharged using the very first eBay turbo manifolds made by SSAUTOCHROME back in 2003 when I was 20. I have owned 76 different vehicles in my lifetime and I am only 41 right now. I turned a wrench on every one of them. I focused on everything from a 1994 Eddie Bauer Explorer that I did a 302W swap on with an Eaton M-90 supercharger to DSM (Eclipse, Talon, and Plymouth Laser) turbo builds, to an AWD 1992 Plymouth Colt hatchback (that was my late grandfather's last vehicle), to my 503 whp V6 manual swapped 2001 Honda Accord, to my 709 whp built LSVTEC EJ8 Civic coupe, to my twin turbo 2013 E82 BMW that is my daily now. I LOVE cars and trucks of all kinds.

Yeah that was my thought after watching the other video. The only other good option would be the 3.6 high feature engine that puts out 308 horsepower and could be coupled with up to a 8 speed auto. This would be what the chevy colorado had for a higher horsepower option until 2022.

Engine was already on the way out and needing a rebuild. They got a new engine already on the video. Other guy's didn't blow their engines because theirs were fine.
