Comparison cook of Prime Brisket on 3 different style smokers. I used oak wood across the board. I used Oak pellets also. Oak Charcoal briquettes BnB.
Thank you to Carne De Theresa for the awesome Prime Brisket!!!!!!

@@londonjeremiah8434 what?
Thanks for putting together such an expensive experiment. I really think that you called it when you mentioned a 5 or 6 hr cook time difference. Have you had a chance to dial in the temperatures yet. I'd be very interested to hear how your subsequent cooks on the Reverse Flow faired. Thanks again and keep up the great work!
Nice two smokers from Georgia and the Texan right in the middle.
Thanks for the test. Very interesting how they faired.
Thanks for the watch 🤙
Fun video! I wonder if the greater moisture in sample #2 was a function of a more fatty brisket rather than a difference in the cookers. It might be interesting to compare a single brisket sliced in half (lengthwise with half a point and half a flat on each sample) on two cookers at a time.
Good idea...... thanks
This is a GREAT video, and an expensive one for you! lol. Thanks for putting it together! I've been on the fence between the Assassin and an Ole Hickory CTO. This might push me over to one side!
Well the sponsor brisket helps...... Carne De Theresa for the win!

In terms of mobility (uneven surfaces / slight incline ...etc) which is “easier” to move around the Pitmaker vs the assassin?
@@sparkyharmon9549 I would think the pitmaker because it has bigger rear tires. The weight of them both are about the same
Good stuff Dan

Any tips or tricks and at what temperature do you cook with on the Barq Cooking buttsAnd beef brisket? Thanks
How many briskets will fit in the Assassin ?
About 2 per shelf so 8
Great video bro👍👍👍
Thanks bruh🤙
Barb vs Pitts and spitts which one you recommend
P&S all the way!
Great video but could have used a bit better lighting.
Thanks for watching
Nice
Ty
Do you still have the Pitts and Spitts? Just curious how it holds up long term
Yes...... It is still my main pellet smoker. Have it at my church right now as im doing a lot of smoking their
Hi Dan, if you had to choose again, would you stay with the GF 24, or would you go 28 or 32?
24 is the biggest i can get into my back yard.
What brand of Oak Pellets did you use?
I use 100% Oak by Lumber Jack , Smoke Ring or Q Pellets
@@dynodansmoking going to have to see if I can find them was it lumberjack on this cook? Everyone seemed to like the flavor.
@@caltch i believe so. As long as you get a 100% oak pellet you will be good.
@@dynodansmoking I just realized I have a bag of lumberjack hickory pellets. Got them at an area store called rural king going to check them out my next cook. Thanks man I'll grab thier oak next time I'm out there.
@@caltch cool. Just mame sure they are 100% of that wood for the best wood flavor
What brand gravity fed smoker did you use?
Did you watch the video? I went with an assassin
@@dynodansmoking I heard sasson, not assassin, but I never heard of assassin smoker before, I'm researching now...thanks for the info
Witch one is the gravity feed ?
I put the number and letter that matches the cooker. The GF was the C or 3 on the plate
