She's such a great character. Sassy, sarcastic, dark and gloomy, with a sharp tongue, yet all the same sweet, witty, imaginative, intelligent, and still retaining that childish wonder.
"Fear of heights is not my phobia!" "I'm grateful these ants don't share my vertigo." I'm listening to this again for about the 14th time and I only just noticed this. Alice, are you or are you not afraid of heights?
i've got 0 fucking idea what she's talking about 80% of the time. regardless, she speaks so eloquently and her voice is so lovely that i find myself going "hmm, yes, indeed" like i do understand lmao
"Did I?...I've got to get away!" ...."Escape or pursuit?" This was actually going to be part of the police chase scene after Alice accidentally pushes Pris off the roof after their encounter. It infuriates me that it was cut from the final game. *RAGE*
I was going to try this character for one my voice over demos! She has a terrific voice and accent that suits her quite well! Susie Brann's impression of the character makes the delivery quite interesting, engaging, frightful and a bit courageous. The video is very high quality and very well made! :)
I don't remember ever hearing most of these quotes. I can't even understand what shes blabbing about half the time. I'm glad that she made several reference to "American McGee's Alice" though. ;)
Did you know that Alice had alot more dialogue from the text file that didn't get put into the game files (I don't know if they even got recorded due to time restraints if so which probably shows how rushed this game really is).
Thank you so much for this! I was trying to make an audio for a cosplay act but the background music and ambience cut horribly, this helps so much hahaha
@QuarstyAndZack The "Jackass" line is still in the game if you stuck around at the Orphanage longer enough talking to the Orphans if you constantly run into them each time.
I know Susie Brann from 'You Rang M'Lord' - a great sitcom by the Dad's Army creators. I just found at the she plays Alice in these games, I might have to play them now.
@BelieveInMiracles05 Well she is from the Victorian era you know and people back then spoke more sophisticated than we do today (perhaps sadly which shows how dumbed down we are compared to back then).
Language simply evolves. It has nothing to do with sophistication, and more to do with seperating ourselfs from the french (which inspired the "proper" dialect)
yay! I'm currently making a short film using cut scenes and gameplay of Alice! my film is a whole different storyline, but still about alice and her corrupted wonderland. I'll be using a movie editing program for special effects, and ill be using some of these used, but mostly unused quotes for my storyline! I'll see if I then can post the finished project! trust me it'll look professional! :D
***** thanks so much! I promise I will notify you when it is up on youtube, although if this movie idea dosen't work out, I might make it a mini series :D It's nice to see someone's looking forward to it, because since this is an indie/three year old video game, not much people know about, or think about it anymore. Once again thanks!
Aside from the quote at 23:20, were there any other audio bits that went unused in the actual game? I just finished a playthrough of MR and I don't remember hearing a number of these.
I like her voice
She's sarcastic and
her accent is great
I like her accent
Me too because we both have similar accents.
Cool!!!
Thank you.
no problem
:)
I've noticed that Alice is quite sarcastic and also speaks in many alliterations

Vertigo has nothing to do with heights anyway. Vertigo is the feeling of spinning or swaying, vomiting, difficulty walking.
One of the best voice performances I've ever heard!
Susie Brann is an absolute goddess at voicing Alice! XD I wish she did more voices for games/movies! *^_^*
" I once tried to strike nanny with my hobby horse, missed her but hit the wall. "
8:18
LOL.

FREAKING LOVE HER VOICE
I just adore how eloquent her speech is ^^
"let's pretend i'm a hyena, and your a bone...GIVE ME THE REPORT!" i love that line
(Insert Homer strangling Bart meme here.)
i need the written version of all these quotes
"Sizeable snout seized by sneezing, stunned by seasoning! Alas, poor schnaz." Now try saying that three times fast!
Her voice is so good.
With the sound effects, it's nice to know that there is different versions of Alice dying and being hit. Not just one "Ugh" repeated again and again.
Susie Brann, Alice Liddell's voice is great
"Did I?...I've got to get away!" ...."Escape or pursuit?"
This was actually going to be part of the police chase scene after Alice accidentally pushes Pris off the roof after their encounter. It infuriates me that it was cut from the final game. *RAGE*
That Alice Asylum game needs to be a thing in the future
Lara Croft had a worth competitor!
Yeah
:3
TotallyLisaBackup yesss !
22:04 "survival satisfies only if continued existence has an objective, revenge focuses the mind" that quote goes hard

Zylice Liddell I think some of the dialogue that you are referring to is dialogue was cut from the game and was unused.
I love her voice so much.
How do you get Alice to say"Jackass" in the game?
And the Nanny hobby horse thing?
@Gracie Garlock yea i have the game and alice said it.
24:19 through the rest I know quite well...
This part makes me simp over Alice lmao

10 hour gameplay is rushed?
Well I actually notice that British people have the best voice acting seems like...
Best waifu. 👌
(And probably the one that needs the most comfort.)
I love how she mention eating too many mushrooms 😂
Thank you so much for this! I was trying to make an audio for a cosplay act but the background music and ambience cut horribly, this helps so much hahaha
Her voice is beautiful and very satisfying.
My favorite quotes: 21:47 and 23:27
Puss Puss!
Sorry, but where did you get all these audio files? And do you have the full script of these quotes? Thank you
love alice voice and cheshire cat voice
I love Alice's voice! :D
She looks so amazing in Wonderland
I liked the screenshots you used in this! *^_^*
Me: Tell 'em what for, Alice-
Alice: Oh! Uh Uh... B-Bloody Dodo!
Me: ...
@QuarstyAndZack

@BelieveInMiracles05

She seems nice
"You're free my friends! ^^"
That's really…wonderful !!!!!!!!
The unused lines are all the more reason for this game to be remastered.
Twinkle twinkle little bat *-* 15:30

You have my respect, Sir "MNHStudios". Love her accent.

wait this is so cool did you ever finish it?
12:31
Oh! I see, thanks for clearing that up for me
I passed this game several times for 100 percent, but many quotes didn't hear. why?
"it's not natural to me! Get away!" Alice is asexual confirmed
When she dies or gets damage, I think.
I haven't heard some of these...
Poppy from You rang Mylord?
I wonder if any1 realised that the 1st game alice's voice is deeper and harder than the 2nd game's.
awesome,
23:27
01:17 when on EARTH does she say that?
iT'S UNUSED.
24:19
@MNHStudios So there's a way to extract the voices from AMR?
@98Clank98 Yes there are some, actualy many, quotes that were not included in the game.
"Monday's Wash Day" / "Were Bloomers"
22:54
24:20 - 24:35,Alice...,is that what i think it is? O_O
So could this technically be the groke’s real voice?
incredible! where did you get this? =)!
Amazing (:
14:53
Aside from the quote at 23:20, were there any other audio bits that went unused in the actual game? I just finished a playthrough of MR and I don't remember hearing a number of these.
Some are specific to going certain ways or pausing for too long. You might not get them all
23:20 just if you want to click on it to see
the last is kinda awkward for greenminded .. agree??
