@@knosis-d Hi, I'm 46 and I started studying Psychology last year. If you're curious and eager to learn, just go for it! What's the worst that could happen? You might discover it's not for you, but at least you tried and now you know. In the best case, you succeed and gain more knowledge in a field you're interested in. For me, it was the best decision ever. And mind you, I'm doing it with a family of four and a 40-hour work week!
Between 2007 and 2009, I went to college and managed to spend three years and get zero credits. I didn't realize until later on life why it was so hard for me to learn. I built a business for myself, from scratch, and got to accomplish some really cool things. I was debating whether or not it would be worth trying to go for a degree again because of my past failures. This was a really cool thing to hear. Thanks a lot.
I’m 47 and a Los Angeles Realtor & single mom. I’m going back for 23 months to complete my bachelors in business & marketing! It is kind of scary! Thanks for this!
Thank you for posting this! I needed this pep talk today! I’m currently preparing to audition to music school at age 39! I haven’t told anyone but my husband because of the things you’ve explained here.
I have sole custody of a six and seven-year-old my seven-year-old nonverbal on the spectrum. I’m almost 44 years old. I’m robbing Peter to pay Paul, but I’ve decided to go back to school to do trauma therapy. Life’s too short to waste it.
I recently went to university age 40. I've wanted to work in conservation since my 20s and got fed up of those with degrees swooping in and getting the jobs I kept applying for and volunteering for. ADHD and hormones are my enemies but I'm going to keep trying. Thanks for this video 🙏
Doc, greetings and thank you, I started watching your content a couple of years ago when I first started seriously considering returning to university seeking an advanced degree. With your encouraging words, I mustered up the courage to apply, and a few days ago, I was notified that I was accepted into a master's program starting this fall semester. I will be 70ish at the completion of this program and then perhaps a Ph.D. This is life-changing for me. I am so happy!
Thank you for your motivation. I’ve been thinking about going back to school forever but with 5 kids, only one working in the household, I honestly don’t feel like I can. Ive been a certified nursing assistant for over 16 years and I watch these incompetent nurses giving out meds, thinking I can do that! Just the schooling part scares the hell out of me.
This was so spot on!!! There is no where that says you should be this by this time period. That’s all opinions of the goats following the crowd. Be yourself and do what God is laying on your heart to do.
Thank you! I enjoyed what you had to say here and it resonated with me. I have a master's degree but I'm considering going back and changing my path. You're right - there's still So much life to LIVE! Honestly it feels like it's just getting stated.
I am 56 and going for my BS in phycology. Wish me luck. Starting from ground zero.
Please let me know how's it going, I want to go to school but afraid to since I'm 47 years old

I'm 64 & retired. I've always wanted my Bachelor's Degree in Social work, for myself. I'm so excited.
I’m 55 and will be doing my internship in social work starting in May. I’ll have my BSW in August then on to get my masters.

My husband just turned 47 and wants to go back to school to get an engineering degree. I tell him he can totally do it.
Behind every great man is a great woman as his support system.
Did your husband get started?
Let him focus on math
