Thanks bud, really hoped Blomkamp would have got to make his Alien movie and bring back Ripley and Hicks! still holding out hope for District 10 though!

I watched this when it first had its first theatrical release, and I was blown away by the film. I instantly recommended it to my dad who was a massive sci fi fan, and he absolutely loved it as well.
It's kind of a South African version of the 80s version of Alien Nation. It's a shame Bloomkamp hasn't continued doing more movies after Chappie , and he really did get shafted when it came to the Alien movie.

Wow! Very limited 🤩 I saw this film when I younger but didn't like it because I was just expecting alien mayhem which it wasn't 😅 but I've bought the blu ray and need to give it a rewatch. Lovely set, great unboxing dragon 👏

Thanks mate, yeah it's quite an odd one! It gets better with each subsequent viewing though, still find it a great mix of laughs, genuine heartfelt moments and a bittersweet ending with some incredible CGI and design work for its low, low budget!
