Activision doesn't own the remastered rights (or at least I think, I remember,her seeing a patent for this[this being MWR]) and if so, they can refuse to continue business with activision, but that would be a shitstorm if loopholes and if all of the devs band together they could make it out.

Yea i guess but that also kinda ruins camos for me. It's no longer a challenge to get a camo. It's been years since i last grinded for hours and hours like for regal camo in MWR and when you finally get it it actually means something, because you spent a lot of time to get it.

LONG COMMENT BELOW. Please try to read this all the way through as it explains what I believe to be the problem with what we have today with the supply drops.
This is something that I wish haven't become a thing. When BO2 had the buyable camos for just a couple bucks I was completely fine with this it's not effecting anything and purely cosmetic, ghosts also did this too. I believe once Activision caught on to people buying these micro transactions they most likely thought of trying to use this to the best of their ability and when AW had the variant system and supply drops they saw a perfect opportunity to do so. Treyarch most likely didn't plan even doing supply drops in BO3 until Activision probably told them too so they can have a way to make money off future dlc (Ex. Weapons) knowing Treyarch they probably wished everybody could of used the new weapons. Now with Infinite Warfare not getting that much attention as MWR Activision clearly are looking at the best ways to make money and by doing so they could possibly add supply drops. Raven Studios said that they love COD4 and was pleased to remaster a game they love. Knowing this they want to keep all the great aspects of the game without adding anything way out of its boundaries such as supply drops and weapon DLC that could ruin the remastered. In short The studios that make COD want people to enjoy their game but with such a large fanbase, Activision the publisher of these games wanting to make the most money that they can uses this large fanbase to try and buy these supply drops so Activision can get the money they want and making everybody angry at these studios.
EDIT: what I'm basically getting at here is It's all Activision's fault for this hate from the community. We should not hate the studios, hate Activision for all of this. Nobody wanted these supply drops and the studios most likely didn't want them either. I'm hoping people will see this so we will stop hating on these studios and instead hate on Activision that caused this to happen.
