Awesome video great job don't worry about the lighting this shows that it's reality not just set up in the shop. Right here shows you real life work, great job keep up the good work, thanks
Just what I was looking for. Noticed my fuel tank has began leaking recently around the grommet which has become loose. Watching your video has helped me figure out what I need to do. Thanks!
Thanks bro apparently my filter was installed by a shop in the output side , unbelievable. I was getting bogging when the fuel was low !,! Lucky I saw your informative video and got it straightened out .. no more shops , I'll fix it myself for now on.. love the dogs , thanks for saving them from a miserable life... god bless you.. If i disconnect the fuel line from thr carb, should fuel come out if there is gas in the tank? I replaced carb and fuel lines and it will start, but not throttle
I just picked up a bt150 off the side of the road left the guy a note to make sure that I wasn't stealing his property he said the blower is yours it's leaking fuel so I'm hoping it's just a cracked fuel line like yours. More than likely that's the issue and Tractor Supply is going to be my best friend here shortly😂
@@SmallEngineRepair I always try to support a small business before big corporate entity but actually this morning I was able to diagnose and repair the blower within about 5 minutes ▶▶▶the guy threw it out because it was leaking Fuel and the only problem was the return line had popped out of the grommet.... I trimmed the line with a razor blade a little bit to shape it because I couldn't get it back in the grommet being that it was so dry rotted, and gouged the hole out with a chopstick. 😄😄😄no joke pushed it back in the hole nice and tight and it started on the first pull 😂 I live in a very remote area it's actually almost 5 miles off of pavement before I can even reach my driveway, so finding a small dealer to work with is very difficult where I'm at. Maybe I can look in a major city nearby and have them ship it to me. I do need to replace the lines because they are trashed but it does run fine now♠
@@SmallEngineRepair I totally agree with that, no one wants to take the time to try to figure out a problem they just rather go spend money and waste good products and materials to fill the landfills. Hell I've got a belt sander from 1950 something😄 another thing I found on the side of the road. Is it the safest tool around? Hell no it's all made of metal and has absolutely s*** grounding, not something you send the helper out in the rain with. But it's strong as an ox and runs like a top
@@SmallEngineRepair 1. You really think any commercial Lawn business will actually go out of their way and get ethanol free gas to use on their trimmer/blower? 2. If you think it is the 10% or less ethanol gas that damage your fuel line, why don't you get your replacement fuel line at NAPA since automobile been using ethanol blend fuel since late 70's(40+ yrs ago) and fuel line damage haven't been a thing for millions of car over past 30yrs!
Thank you buddy, just discovered this problem tonight, glad it’s now before the Fall!

@@SmallEngineRepair Woulda thumbs up again for the cat at the end!
Thanks for the video. I needed that because I having to replace my fuel line. How long should the fuel line be please?
Thanks in advance.
If you bought 3ft of line that should be plenty.
real educational. thanks for making it look a lot easier
Thanks for the video. I learned quite a bit. I'll try this stuff on mine.

If the lid is tight on the tank then yes. Pressure in the tank will cause the fuel to come out of the line. Crack the lid open and it should stop.
I bought same exact one used like new love it so fast
Great to hear!
Seat of your pants utubing! 😂 and it still started up.
Thanks for the video. Learned a lot!
Great video. Thanks!

You should check with your local small engine shop to buy your line and filter to try and support local. Big business like TSC wouldn't notice it.

@@JohnnyNobody- wow that's awesome. People are so wasteful nowadays. Everything seems to be made to be thrown away instead of fixed.

things been riden hard and put away wet :(
And what was wrong with the Backpack Blower and I are the same way too dirty on the outside
This one needed fuel filter and lines replaced. Ethanol gas damages this stuff so fast now.
