i think that 'difference' where sometimes the buildings break easily and other times they offer a lot of resistance is speed. as far as i can tell, the 'specialized' weapon parts are just shaped parts, rather than having a 'blade' or 'crush' mechanic coded into them, since built up parts deal just as much damage as the weapons. i thing that when the object is in direct contact and only moving slowly, even if it gains a large amount of force, like a rocket, it won't deal as much damage as if it was a few cm away from the building before the rocket goes off. this is actually fairly accurate to real life, since if you put a car against a wall, then accelerated it would do very little, even at max engine power, but it you gave the car space to gain speed it would break the wall and the car by a lot more.
If that is the case then that just makes it better tbh. And the weapons that have built in stuff would make more sense to require less effort and resistance to destroy things. But in this game, anything can be a weapon, and yeah, I think the speed thing is the case, but though sometimes it feels a bit too "over the top" like just a few meters away and then the builds suddenly crumble, but then again it adds into the fun of it. And as if the game itself isn't over the top to begin with XD

They don't need to care if _you_ continue to keep drawing views, they just need to make sure they have someone to replace you by the time you burn out, and they've successfully done that [for now, at least]. Wow I wish I hadn't thought so hard about this, I'm kinda depressed now. This is the future in store for us, isn't it? The total commodification of the human condition. That sounds.... super fun :| )

I feel like the lack of jankyness (Trailmakers) in the game and the immediate controller/keyboard to input would (what Scrapmechanic lacks) would finally make my mission come true in these types of games. A controllable giant human arm and hand that realistically moves. It would be funny to back hand a building and then ball up your fist to punch. I could even attack the first to a rope and launch it forward before pulling it back in with magnets

I have a suggestion for a vehicle in Instruments of Destruction: Can you try making a vehicle that looks like Anomalocaris. Anomalocaris was an animal that lived in that Cambrian Explosion 500 million years ago. It would use its 2 tenticle like opendages on the front of its face that would curle up and down. When the 2 tenticles grab Pisces of a building, it will drag it twords its mouth on its stomach. Also just for a bonus: can you try making the fins move up and down?
I want to get this game for the sole purpose of making a machine that shoots a bunch of cannonballs, but magnets collect them before they hit anything and make a GIANT CANNONBALL to launch at buildings. Are cannonballs in the game, and are they magnetic???
I don't honestly know the point of weapons in this game. Give your vehicle a fancy swordish part, but driving through it really just means driving through the building, which apparently works with or without the sword, and your vehicle is not hurt either way

Speed. If you're not moving you get a lot of resistance. It seems the way physics works here exaggerates inertia like crazy.

It is not broken, it's designed this way. Fixed means it does not move. Its often used to describe maritime or military equipment.
