OK, seriously, this blaster is like your nerf musket a few videos ago but way harder hitting and more accurate. The reload being way slower (and the other faster darts and higher accuracy) really remind me of a rifle from that musket's period.
I’ve NEVER seen a nerf channel grow this fast, let alone one dedicated to mods. This is so impressive. I’m so glad to be able to watch old school mod videos again. Thank you!
Very cool and creative! I love the design and explanation. And the pumping system looks very satisfying to use. It is also very simple so good job for that!. I think for the penetration tests you could pierce through cardboard from further away if your targets were more secure because some of the energy is absorbed by the cardboard just moving back. There is nothing wrong about your test though! I am just mentioning it for the people reading. This gun is maybe a little bit more powerful than shown maybe ;)
I really like that you used the pressure fit of the coupling as the answer to the “you shouldn’t use pvc for air tanks it’ll explode” argument. Super clever! Also, have you considered looking into the green tipped Worker darts? They have slightly more mass in the tip and will fly a bit further and more accurately
Next up do mega with a bcar. You can only push half darts so far. I've got a handful of videos showing the power and accuracy you can bring to the table.
need to build an air powered blaster with an RSCB, maybe also some more builds that are easyer to follow along at home with more 3d printed parts taking the guesswork out of fabricatrion.
Now rig it up for a sniper rifle. It’s got the performance, accuracy and range. Longer barrel maybe? Possible extended gas tank and obviously a scope. I love your videos, dreamed of this as a kid
Can you 3d print some different type of tips for the darts? Then they would definitely blow through the cardboard maybe you can even get it to go through balsa wood or something? All in all I’m impressed and I like this build
The fact that you felt the need to comment this tells me everything I need to know. Theres more to this hobby than performance, but it’s okay. Keep flinging foam for long enough and you’ll learn there’s no right way to do it, which is what sets us apart from airsoft and paintball.
this is really cool. I'm gonna shove this in my spare longstrike shell, put a sealed breach in this and see what happens. I might use a few different techniques to get it to work but this could genuinely be really cool
da legend, again!!!!! can you make a nerf shotgun out of a pesticide sprayer??? i´d rlly love to see my idea come to live...! thank you for this content!
pretty much should have just left the pvc blaster naked for safety using the real gun parts around it is just dangerous for everyone, adds no real functionality.
How do you not create a vacuum in the barrel when pulling the ram rod out after compressing the air in the air tank. im assuming it'd be hard to pull it out, so im wondering how it is easy. Im thinking of how you got air to flow in to pump again.
Goddamn, this channel is cool. It's like being into guns without all the militarism and instead a lot more nerdy craftsmanship. I especially like how you run down the components and their importance in the operation. I hope you go far with this.
I’d strongly suggest that you make some videos for people who do not have nerf guns eg. What you enjoy about nerf/how to have fun with it. People assume their audience is made up of enthusiasts
In the future, a plexiglass shield with a cutout slightly larger than the chronograph's bore could be used to protect against a repeat of this damage while still allowing live readouts

there’s no n-strike barrel lug
This nerf gun does NOT have slam-fire
@@mattie_y omg, you watch coop too? I loved his reviews, it truly is unfortunate how he left RUclips.
I was thinking forgotten weapons.
Just need a beard and weve got nerf jesus.

Man went from modifying blasters to flat-out making them in 7 videos. Ultimate nerf flex.

Worth the wait. Really enjoyed the format with the disassembly at the start. Hope you can get a new chronograph soon!

This is awesome! I'd love if in future videos you make a parts list available. If you make them at least.
Its genuinely impressive how simply and elegantly you made an air tank blaster.
simplicity is key
0:29 I think you meant to say "Starting up at the front, there is no N-Strike barrel lug, this is not a Nerf brand blaster."
Really enjoy your content, its nice seeing everything ordered and hearing you talk in depth about your projects is really nice, good vid man!
Yes Matt longer and more indepth videos, this is what I want to see!!💪

tune in next week, where we'll be putting a real gun inside a nerf gun
i accidentally punched a hole through my computer trying to subscribe
"Should I stop?" "Yeah!" I love it...
its cool to see how your nerf gun projects get more powerful

The happy skip to the chrono when you did the last shot killed me

Man I've been using bloatey's for years! Glad to see them helping out a small tuber like yourself.
I love the detail and the process in this vid. I need to know what the name of the valve he used was though
Those rear sights are pretty wide. I know its not really meant for sharpshooting but just feel like it could be improved
Wow, using the barrel and the ram rod as a pump is so cool. Also the way you say pump is very cute :3
RUclips moderators: "I don't care, I'm scared of shapes."
I’m thinking of replicating this myself but convert it for airsoft, what did you use to make the seals?
with all these new creations you're doing lately, perhaps you can do a hand-cranked gatling gun?
maybe one day 👀
Matt in his muzzle loading faze right now

Also I loved the product placement 😂😂😂
now available in lemon lime flavor
holy shit dawg that trigger is primitive AF
if you 3d print it to make a shell ejecting nerf gun , it would be revolutionary bro
Love this build, kind of like a home brewed slimmed down drain blaster build of old times (which I'm about to do a fresh one myself, lol).
one of these days i need to get a drain blaster
Congrats on getting a sponsor!
Can you post a schematic of the mechanism?? I am curious about some things
I haven’t seen suction cup tips since the n-strike days!

I wonder if you can increase FPS by using a BCAR instead to minimize friction losses
Nice!
I'd need a sound-eraser
For my neighbor-eraser, also 🤔
You need to make blueprints of this.
Can i find a link to the rifled barrel attachement anywhere
And *this* is why the air blaster users in my local group are the ones I either hope are on my team, or are the ones I give a VERY wide berth lol
you can get a caliburn that shoots 300 fps and is pump action and mag fed

what would getting hit with this be like? Based on the FPS I'd assume it'd feel like a paintball
at 0:28 i was expecting him to say "there is no n-strike barrel lug"
This is a pretty awesome design
bro went from modifying nerf blasters to making them himself
The operation of the Nerf gun looks a lot like a musket.
Having something swinging from your hand during an accuracy test probably wasn't a good idea
I think it needs a nstrike barrel lug
forgotten blasters
How much did this cost in total?
and where did you get the gun shell?
you basically made a nerf musket
awesome
he basically made a high powered nerf musket as you have to jam the rod in about 3 times and then get your ammo and jamm that down
Modify one of those dog toy shooters to whatever you want
got the classic coop772 catchphrase
use lightweight metal darts and make a gun that can shoot really fricking fast with metal darts
"I love you" -Patrick star
My dad uses the legal work around of "Foam Dart Blaster" so no one can have a legal issue.
At the beginning of the "disassembly" section, we can see Ian McCollum in another Forgotten Weapons video. kkkk
so it kind of works like a musket

despite the vacuum its not hard to remove
@@mattie_y For the ram rod, does the o ring on it (when pulling it out) comes out of the barrel or stays in. When going for another pump.
If its power enough to kill your chronograph, its powerful enough.

@@mattie_y yes, but at this rate, you'll also have armor penetrating darts...
I want to do this but it’s a flintlock pistol. I already have an idea for the design.
i look forward to your video about it :D
You should add an underbarrel tube to hold the ram rod like old muskets had

@@mattie_y understandable, that makes sense
