Jennifer, I also cover the back of my wreath with round placemats you find at DT, DG, Ross, Goodwill, garage sales, etc. It looks professional and you don't want to show the messy back. I do it also to not scratch people's doors or mine. I even cover my back when doing paintstick swags. I always had compliments from customers about how professional my wreath and door swags looked. You can use shelf liners, felt, fleece, foam placemats too!. Whatever is cost effective. ROSS always sells placemats in different colors. I collect them all year round and have a stock load on hand!

Thanks, for teaching me how to make these wreaths. I made a fall wreath, now a Christmas one. My Christmas one needs a bit more, but it's going to take me some thought. My fall wreath I left pipe cleaners on and curled them down like tendrils.
