I am Black and I do not think the show of force was due because he is black. I think it had to do with the producer having pics and videos of him or his son, allegedly shooting someone in the bathroom. We don't know what his children are capable of. Also, Cassie said he, allegedly, sent his goons to blow up someones car. Diddy is a dangerous man and so are his children.
I think there have been firearm charges against him, and his sons, in the past. So they had to clamp down on them while finding all their firearms. Plus, his homes are enormous, each being 20,000 sq ft, so it’ll take a lot of folks to clear and search each home … maybe it looked like a huge raid, but they didn’t want to spend a month getting through that large of a house …
@hlowrylong example. One of my sisters husbands is in law enforcement, and I would want him to be safe as well as all law enforcement. I also heard other experts say it is protocol for everyone's safety.

There were tanks, SWAT, Homeland Security, FBI and local police who showed up with machine guns drawn and pointed at his children. The amount of resources and over the top aggression used didn't make sense. If this amount of resources is used, then I would think an arrest is eminent. Here we are one week later and no arrest. So, for that I feel it was about race too. They knew he wasn't home, so this was not about him being a threat to the authorities.
