When these actors are on set and on-screen, they make it look easy with their portrayals. But spaces like these allows us to gather insight into how much effort these actors truly put into these portrayals. You get to see the actor’s psyche, process, and approach to how they play a character, and we also get to see just how deeply they immerse “themselves” into their characters.

This brotha hit it hard in Power. My favorite scene was when Ghost schooled kannon son when he came for him. Ghost turn the tables and took the gun from him and told him , “Your Not Built For This.” He also knew that Kannon had put his son up to this to show loyalty. Ghost gave him the opportunity to walk away without killing him. Thx you Pivot for bringing this🙏🏾☝🏾

Hands down that ending would have been better for Power the show but not Power the Universe. The network n the producers wouldnt let that happen. They chose Riq killing his dad bc he was going to be Ghost 2.0 on his own show. Which is why the ending felt forced imo. But I would have loved to hear his thoughts on Book II

Amazing convo. Omari is amazing. One of the reasons I love this pod is because you have a group of true Alphas able to have real convos. This is what the “20 something’s” and younger are lacking.
More now than ever the media and powers that be are raising the voices of lesser men to make that be the example of a “man” and especially black men. The young men today need to watch this as an example of who to become.
There is a difference between being sensitive and soft, between having difficult experiences and being a victim, etc.
Omari’s clearly on the same level/vibe. Perfect example that inner reflection brings great wisdom.

I'm on 52:24 I had to quickly pause because... I have NEVER seen that camera angle on any podcast. This episode is so transcendental it's like we're actually watching something beyond just 4 men talking. And for the director to have the presence of mind to take this angle in order to emphasise the uniqueness of this moment is unreal. That camera shot speaks volumes to the energy and spirit that was in that room.
