Hi Al, my wife and I think the next after next project should be a large 14-16 foot deep wrap around covered deck off the man door to the house. Would keep the entrance clear of snow and mud and give the house some great curb appeal. We love spending your money and time. 😉😊😊👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Seeing your snow plow this morning reminded me that when I first started watching you it was 6 months of snow related items with Gina going to work and Olivia going to school---it is all so much better now.. Thank you for allowing me to be a daily part of it. Jim from Texas
Nicely put. I feel the same way. The Lumnahs are a part of my daily routine. Al, Gina and Olivia take us along on their days activities and we feel like we're there with them, looking over their collective shoulders, so to say. Much respect here!
Good afternoon to the lovely Lumnah family out of a very windy Port Elizabeth in Southern Africa. Wish you all a safe week filled with God's Love, Grace, Hope and Blessings........
The tone for the day hasn't been set without first watching Lumnah Acres. You guys are the best. You all feel like kinfolk to all of us out here in Mineral Springs, NC. God bless you all.
Morning, Lumnahs! Good to see you today. Busy day doing the finishing touches on the barn build. Love checking in on our favorite RUclips family. Al, we’re hoping that you’re healing well from your nail injury. Take care.
I bought a bay tree 11 years ago and oh boy fresh bay leaves are so much nicer, now because I have to trim the tree a lot more now it’s older I put the branches I trim off into the freezer with the leaves still attached and pull one off as needed I did dry them once but I have found that freezing them keeps their flavour better 😊😊😊 as for the rosemary I bought one bush and spent 2 years doing cuttings to build a full front hedge across the front of the yard. 😊😊
That all sounds wonderful! My bay tree is 3 years old and is getting bigger and bigger - even though I now have to cage it to keep the deer from eating it. The rosemary I planted 5 years ago isn't getting enough sun. Instead of moving it, though, I got a small one last week. The new one is called Barbecue; it has nice straight stems that I think can be used as skewers. My favorite herb, though is parsley.

A beautiful and productive day on the homestead. Without the beautiful and sweet rain, fruit, vegetables and flowers wouldn't grow. And humanity and animals wouldn't thrive. G-D Bless and Stay Safe.
Gina try leaving your skins on the onions when making broth, it adds such a lovely color to it and then add a tablespoon of turmeric in it. Very very good antioxidant and also leaves a nice color. Not a whole lot of taste to it. Someone you may enjoy watching would be Heather @ The Kneady Homesteader.
Afternoon from the UK. I think getting the gravel before the weather really turns might be a good idea. At least then the barn can be used for winter storage without trying to get a floor in place among a load of equipment. I'm about to make some chicken soup using the carcass from my dinner the last couple of days. I can't wait. Stay safe, everyone.
@@tonygrimes13 that's something like where I live in California. Winter lasts about 2-3 weeks and then we get 75F for a few weeks before it rains for two months.
Good morning everyone, I gave my chickens a treat yesterday by raking the driveway and putting them in the coop. They look like a bunch of children playing in a leaf pile.
Al, I'm so glad you are getting back to normal and healing nicely. The new garage/barn is looking great and I can't wait to see your custom design. Your farm is especially beautiful in the Fall. You also post gorgeous Fall pictures on Instagram. Best wishes.🍁🍂😊🌻🎃🍁
