I buy them when they go on sale to have em and maybe one day when I have a kid of my own I'll put em in Saturday mornings and watch em with him/her as a way for them to experience what we had and look forward to Saturday mornings

Every time I hear a rock cover of the original Power Rangers theme song, I get teleported back to the 90's and relive the golden age of rangers
To me Power Rangers golden age was from Power Rangers Turbo Chase into Space to Power Rangers Wild Force The End of The Power Rangers.
Some great seasons came after wild force tho

35 year old Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fan here.
Me and my schoolmate/teammate/catcher/lifelong best friend used to walk to my house in 1993 after Elementary School which was only 2 blocks away, so I could switch into my baseball practice clothes.
My mom would give us $2 every time we left so we could get something to snack on while we walked to his house 3 blocks away.
We would routinely buy a grab-bag of chips (20 cents each), a can of Hill Country Fare soda (20 cents each) and a Dill Pickle (50 cents each) and with whatever was left, some Double Bubble Gums which were stored in a see-through glass jar for a penny each at a family owned corner store which was down my alley.
When we would get to his house, it would almost be 4PM, just in time to watch a new episode of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and eat our snacks, which most of the time we would save for the viewing.
Then we would duke it out for about another 30 to 40 minutes on some Mortal Kombat I or II, or maybe a little bit of Street Fighter II: Turbo on Super NES before his dad, our coach, got home from work to take us to Little League practice.
*Fuck... those were some fun-ass times!*

When I realized that glorious opening was just a lead-in to the main melody, I knew I was in for a ride. But when you switched it up to the dragonzord, I actually got really choked up. This is a work of art. 😭
