I'm glad I found your video! I have endometriosis, adenomyosis, uterine and ovarian cyst, cervical stenosis, and endometrial hyperplasia. I'm scheduled for a hysterectomy in March. It's sad that I've just dealt with this pain and thought it was normal. My body just got use to being in pain. Thankful I found a great OBGYN who noticed my cervical stenosis and recommended a pelvic ultrasound which discovered the cyst, uterine hyperplasia, and enlarged uterus. Which prompted her to perform a D&C with hysteroscopy and diagnostic laparoscopy. This is when everything else was discovered. My doctor was shocked at how bad my uterus and right ovary were. She recommended I get a hysterectomy and remove my right ovary asap to prevent further complications. Thanks for sharing your story!

Thank you for commenting! I'm sorry that you have these issues, I know how hard it can be to just move through the pain on a daily basis. But I'm so glad you got a diagnosis!! Sometimes that peace of mind helps you muddle through. And I wish you a speedy recovery from hysterectomy, I hope it brings you relief 🤗

Interesting, feeling how the bloating and pain receded within approximately two months made all the difference, I simply go’ogled the latest by Tilly Strankten and her Ovarian Cyst Guide and although it really took about 10 weeks for it to totally shrink and vanish I’ve never felt so light and relaxed.

I struggle with all this when you had the hysterectomy did you have the cysts again or was it before
Because I am unclear did the hysterectomy help or not?

I had cysts that were reoccurring before the hysterectomy. I had a complete hysterectomy, meaning cervix, uterus, fallopian tubes and ovaries were all removed. That's when they discovered that in addition to the endometriosis that we already knew I had, there was also adenomyosis. Afterward, I had more pain and had another laparoscopy in which they cleaned up scar tissue, removed new growth of some kind, and took out my appendix. Yes, the hysterectomy helped relieve much of my pain, although I still have issues due to scar tissue and such. Overall, I am happy with my decision to get the surgery.
