Nice work! Can you give me a tip on the easiest/fastest way to transition between different color paint using the same gun? Like how much cleaning goes in before next paint color can be sprayed. I’m new and trying to learn some tricks from experienced folks like you.

Less nowadays.. kan use some of the fly tying stuff though.. just wondering, with big fish on topwater the takes can be severe.. do the eyelets ever come out?

I haven’t had any eyelets come out yet. You can use two-part epoxy if you want to be really sure for big fish.

Have you ever thought about doing a collaboration with Marling Baits? You could do a 3 day lure challenge where u guys both make lures and fish them in a competitive 1vs1 tourney.

I just use undiluted airbrushing paint.

Thanks very much! It's a thin super glue from Starbond.
Works really well as a sealer.

Another magnificent piece. Could you share what procedure you use to draw the lines to do the tappered corners ans achieve the round shape? How can we do it us mortals without experience? Should we measure from a center line...really confused about how to do this. Thanks
Thank you very much! I like to make popper mouths slightly triangular in shape. But you can make them a lot less complicated by drawing your chamfer lines gradually farther away from the corners as you go from back to front. Finish the lines 1/3 of the way in from the corners of the mouth. After you remove the corners, blend it all together with a sanding belt as done in the video.

I believe that a video explaining how to draw the chamfer lines depending on what you want to achieve could have many views. At least I'd watch it many times myself. lol

What is that little rattle you're putting inside the lure? Hope this isn't a stupid question. Love your work.
It's called a tube rattle which helps to attract fish with the noise and vibration it makes.

It's just simple baking soda. Makes a GREAT filler when you add super glue!

Just make equal measurements.

Can you make a tutorial for making rattle inside of the lure?
I buy the rattles pre-made from Amazon.
I can see the hook guide right next to the lure but no, it's hooked into the reel..
