After the game of throne fiasco, fleabag and killing eve, one thing is clear: only phoebe waller bridge should be allowed to write things. She's phenomenal.
Good news. They brought her in to spruce up the script for the next James Bond film! Obviously she will be great for sprucing up the female characters.

I want another couple of seasons, because the ones we had were so short. As hilarious as she is with all the self loathing, I want to see Fleabag in a happy place. That season 2 finale was kind of heartbreaking.

@@patricktracey2606 She also did crashing, here's hoping we get a 2nd series of that too. Seeing as Killing Eve brought her to people's attention and gave us a 2nd series of Fleabag we might finally get more Crashing, but I doubt she can run all 3 shows simultaneously :/

same! It genuinely made me go through the grief of a breakup; in part due to its brilliant writing but also because im a weak-hearted, love-starved fool. but then again, love isn't somethat weak people do, right?
The second series is, I think, one of the best things I've ever seen on television. Period. She is a brilliant writer and a brilliant actor.

This show is too good!!!! But it's too short! I binged the whole second season in a day. I laughed out loud and I cried while watching. I want more! I feel so greedy!

The first episode of series 2 (at the dinner table) is perfection.
My favorite line in season two is the scene in episode five where the priest has come to her home when the lawyer turns up. Fleabag is trying to get rid of him and the dialogue goes:
Fleabag: You can't come in. My priest is here and I think he really needs some guidance.
Lawyer: What? Is he alright?
Fleabag: No. I'm hoping he's having an emotional crisis.

@@gothgod10 Boots is a pharmacy chain, they sell things that make you look good (toiletries, makeup etc.)

Boots is like the aladins cave of cosmetics, toiletries and pharma for women and men in the U.K.

As a guy, I got hooked to watching Fleabag. Binge watched both the seasons. And yes, the second one is even better than the first. Phoebe Waller Bridge should write more often and also grace the screen more. She's such an amazing talent and a delight to watch on screen.

She is a genius, her writing is so subtle and so powerful. Taps into the modern day life of busy cosmopolitanism quietly and politely rinsing everyone to death.
Fleabag is the kind of content that you can go back to no matter how many times you've watched it and still be amazed by its genius. PWB is a queen.

Both seasons are so brilliant, but the 1st episode of season 2 is just mind-blowingly good. Everything from the writing, acting and directing is just amazing.
Don't forget the editing. The editor for the show won an Emmy. His masterful editing is what makes the show.

Truly an amazing piece of writing. Writing comedy is hard enough, especially when it's written mainly by one person, but to intertwine that comedy with dark comedy as well as this level of pathos and humanity, and keep it at the level it was at (or even exceeding it), is truly something.
Season 2 episode 1 of Fleabag is one of the single best TV episodes I've ever seen. Absolute masterpiece

For me this is the best show in ages! Second season is masterpiece and just perfect. The whole first episode, her confession monolog in church and priest speech in the last episode are superb. Amazing writing, cast, acting... I can't find even find all the super words that can explain how amazing this show is. It's funny yet deep. So much respect for PWB. Only love!

I adored season 1 so much. I didn’t even want a season 2 to come because I thought season 1 was perfect and I was satisfied. I never loved a show so much the way I love Fleabag... but after watching season 2, I can easily tell you, IT WAS BETTER THAN THE FIRST SEASON.... my god, she’s a genius and deserves all of the awards. Now I’m being greedy and I’m hoping she creates another season of it. I think most of us can agree to that!

Her sister asked her if she’d been on holiday and Fleabag replied with Boots, a British drugstore (ie she’s wearing makeup etc) and then she says “[Boots] is lovely this time of year” as if it really was a holiday
It is set up by the comment just before that about her dress.
That and the "where have you been" line both show her and her sister are doing the "polite and surface-level-only" conversation.
I never thought I had an ideal type of woman...until I saw Phoebe Waller-Bridge in this show.
A series you can get your teeth into as a viewer. Bitingly funny, shocking and perceptive, the best thing on TV by miles.
I️ loved Fleabag. Especially season 2 episode 3. Omg I️ have never laughed so much to an award presentation in ALL my life!

Just finished fleabag season 2 and it was phenomenal!! I laugh so hard eventhough at some parts i didn't even understand what they're saying. (cos my mother tongue isn't english and i don't use subtitles) Phoebe, Sian and Andrew were brilliant!!!!

this is brilliant. just wanted to say that the scenes done on the bus stop behind him it says "life" in my language , which felt very symbolic and , well i guess realistic. This writing is just unbelievably good.
