He rode this story out for years, living in Brazil giving interviews for money about the great train robbery

I chatted with Biggs on several occasions at a little theatre in Rio operated by , to the best of my memory Paramount. It was a little place not open to the public next to the American Consulate. He was the perfect English gentleman. Always dressed sharp but the clothes were always a little worn. Clean but worn. RIP Ronnie.

@mjkrbjcw Ronnie Biggs would have been on the Health Care wing and presumably so would his carer . No way would either have been on Rule 43 ( protection wing ) .

He also had Plastic Surgery to conceal his identity. However, he looked NO DIFFERENT after his Plastic Surgery to how he looked before his operation.
The Plastic Surgeon STITCHED HIM UP good and proper.
