He rode this story out for years, living in Brazil giving interviews for money about the great train robbery
Ronnie was a gentleman. He was a friend of my uncle. Went to see him many times at the care home in Barnet ❤
I chatted with Biggs on several occasions at a little theatre in Rio operated by , to the best of my memory Paramount. It was a little place not open to the public next to the American Consulate. He was the perfect English gentleman. Always dressed sharp but the clothes were always a little worn. Clean but worn. RIP Ronnie.
A great Documentary.
I loved Ronnie Biggs. He was a loveable rogue. He is my hero who should of been let out of jail years earlier. RIP ❤️RONNIE❤️

Lovable rogue, until he got ill, then wanted to come back?,took the piss out of England, living the life, but wormed his sad life back, boasting what he did, pathetic…
@@sharonhopton5685 are you lowlife?
He was just a guy who knew a train driver or something in the train robbery and knew nothing else about it any of it or the workings of it. Thats it.
I looked after him at Belmarsh prison. He was a lot of fun.
You you on the protective wing ?
@mjkrbjcw Ronnie Biggs would have been on the Health Care wing and presumably so would his carer . No way would either have been on Rule 43 ( protection wing ) .
Fair play to biggsy .he gave old bill the run around for 30 years .he was abducted twice .but escaped extradition .1 st time .because .the father of a Brazilian child .can not beextradited .the 2 nd time on a technicality .UP YOURS OLD BILL ESPECIALLY SLIPPER
Do you have the full doc?
He has a lot of perculiar accents... Most troubling.
Aussie , English & Brazilian 😂
#@*# him.
He also had Plastic Surgery to conceal his identity. However, he looked NO DIFFERENT after his Plastic Surgery to how he looked before his operation.
The Plastic Surgeon STITCHED HIM UP good and proper.
My uncles wifes second cousins stepbrother doesn't know anyone who took part in the robbery either.
My aunties sisters brothers uncles nephew caught a train from Glasgow to London in 1962 but I just call him dad

This guy was my great great uncle. Never met him though.
RIP RONNIE
Why did he get 30 years ?
Because the train robbers had kicked the Establishment up the arse, and they didn't like it.
@@Rich6Brew yep, those sentences were issued by the government not the judge.
