This is crazy, I torn my acl week 1 of my high school season. I had surgery 7 days ago, and now I’m on the recovery process. 🙏 I needed this

I have had 2 acl reconstruction surgeries (18 and 30 years of age) both due to basketball. The first 2 weeks are the toughest. After that, just make sure like 5 months down the line you don’t over reach. Don’t play football full out just because the knee feels okay, stick to the timetable of recovery

I watched this man at PSU, and he delivered one of the greatest careers of any PSU receiver. I've always been a huge fan of his.

On the real both him and Evans can be WR1 if they were on separate teams. I feel that it's a toss up between the two.
@@rogerm4a1 I’m a Bucs fan but Evans is levels above Godwin, Mike evans is already a HOF lock with his first 8 seasons having over 1k yards. First WR to do so and also has a ring to back it up now
@@Idktyler I wouldn't say levels, Godwin had more catches and yards last year before his injury. Godwin is faster and a better route runner.

As a High school wide receiver I fear the day I might tear my acl or have any other season ending injury and pray it will never happen.

Good to see someone get to the light at the end of the tunnel. I'm still recovering a year later after tearing almost every ligament in my knee. Time to do better with PT like this man.
I'm pleased to see that nfl also shines a light on people who are currently struggling and showing the grind it take to get to the top. It's never fun to be injured but it's important to indicate that there are all people have lows and the important part is how you get out of it. Very inspiring video.

I'm so happy to be a Bucs fan. I'm more happy to be a Godwin fan though. I've watched this young man from college and when the Bucs drafted him I was very happy. Going through an ACL injury as a athlete is one of the worst feelings but we can come back better than ever! All about the work you put in during rehab! Came back from ACL & both Meniscus torn in 6 months I got fully cleared 😬

All of them are but just one play away from a life-changing experience. It's, in my view, with millions of dollars at risk, how that life-altering circumstance is kept so dormant while in the moment. There would be no fiscal monster that is today's NFL if that were not true. NFL players are exceptional inside and out.

Acl and these type of injuries are more serious than people think, they can change your life completely and it feels like it’s over, I’m no athlete but I have been thru some serious injuries and they make you appreciate the times you were good and healthy.

I'm currently a sophomore receiver, and I struggle with injuries. Freshman year i fractured 2 fingers and was out for 6 weeks, that was hard. This season I have fractured another finger and have missed all of preseason and the first 2 games. I'm not returning for week 3 and this is what I needed

The nfl is ruthless on a athlete. That’s why I am never able to understand how nfl players spend so much of their earnings. They are not guaranteed next season, every game could be your last. It is just like a combat sport.The men that last 13 or 14 seasons deserve massive respect.Just try getting back on your feet after getting hit the way they get hit on a regular basis. It amazes me. I punched a wall in frustration 2 weeks ago and tore a tendon in my hand. I can’t even fart without feeling a horrible shock in my hand. These men are beasts
Well not to toot my on horn but about a year ago I completely shattered my right knee (tibia and fibula) and tore every ligament my knee cap was on the side on my leg 😬 so after 3 surgerys I got a sweet scar, 2 plates and 15 screws later I'm walking soon to be jogging!! I had a great support team/Family, all types of injury sucks but the battle is Never fought alone ✊🏽

I had my acl surgery 2 days before Covid shutdowns really took effect. I saw my physiotherapist over zoom once a week for a month. Any pro athlete that says it’s a challenge in rehab doesn’t understand. You legit got the best of the best daily helping you
Facts bro. Pro athletes have all the support necessary to fully recover in record time. They have the best surgeons, see physiotherapists daily and also have equipment such as low gravity treadmills to maximize recovery.
They have it easier than amateur or rather athletes aspiring to become professional.
So true, I had my ACL surgery around that time as well. And like it still doesn’t feel the same yet. So yeah…that sucks
