A good metal singer never has to worry about that, only bad ones. When you force screams you end up ripping up your vocal cords, but a good metal singer learns to bring out the most brutal screams with ease.
The way this song slows down for the section after the "scream session" always gives me goosebumps. I own all three albums and (while it's not my most favorite song) it is one of the best songs ever. Likes fucking up on this song!

The detuned (I'm almost certain it is, but my Dragonfly Cobalt DAC has a tendency to balance sounds, instead of elevate one sound over another) guitar was I THINK, only meant to add to the overall ambience of the song and let the drums, the violin, the electronics and the vocals carry the song...I know they use a cellist in their live performances, but I don't THINK I could hear the presence of one in this piece, maybe because it would be drowned out by the detuned (?) guitar and the drums. Can we please get your reaction to either Faultline or Trials next? Faultline I feel is definitely more in line with Last to Fall from Vessels, whereas I don't think they've ever done a song like Trials before!
The fact that everything Dustin touches, he nails it is pure bliss. Soft melodies, Hard rock, melancholy tracks. Adding the screams to the end of the Everglow man, if you told me anyone could have made this work like 3 years ago, I'd have laughed my ass off, and now that is pretty much the best ending to an Album ever
