This Endless Endeavor's pre-chorus was downright masterful, particularly the second time around with the elevated vocals and emotion.

Anyone who's ever truly loved someone feels how this song plays out. A masterpiece of emotion in sound. (Edit: That sort of "this is so stupid" laugh-cry is what drives me to music like this. Starset has managed to pull a few rabbits out of that particular hat, and I can only hope this isn't the last time.)
Now this song really brings out those kinds of emotions. Damn! Crying in Otherworldly just proves you're human and relating to the lyrics just shows you have affection to something/someone.
During that final chorus I literally said "Holy Fuck" out loud from how hard it hits, and the whole song gave me chills the entire way through, definitely my favorite off the album. Starset never fails to amaze me. ⭐

I really cant tell if this is the best Starset album so far but it very well may be. Because I dont think I ever teared up like I did listening to this album. Maybe listening to Ricochet from Vessels or Dark on You from Transmissions but both Leaving This World Behind and Disappear made me break down. Leaving This World Behind because it's such a beautiful, hopeful song and I had a long day at work. Disappear because it is insanely relatable and well written. The melody is beyond masterful and the theme is so true. When you go through something like lost love you just wanna evaporate and disappear gone without a trace. I know this is a long comment but those are some of my thoughts.

The lyrics don't hit the right spot for me. When listening to music it's not just about how hard it sounds to me. It's about what all of the emphasized lyrics say. That's why Something Wicked is my favorite song from this album, and The Breach has to be my least favorite.

This song is so fucking beautiful, this song and starlight are in my opinion are the two most beautiful starset songs- I had the same reaction that you did to the final chorus to something wicked- holy hell this album
When I first listened to the song I was on my way to work not really giving it attention. Didn't like it that much. But at home I listened again headphones on full headspace eyes closed. I could literally feel the Shivers down my spine and the goosebumps on my body started everywhere. No tears tho. Simply beautiful.

Brother I can’t tell you enough how seeing this just now hit home to me. I just went thru a really tough breakup and downloaded there album for my road trip home and this song made me absolutely breakdown. You got this man!
The first two tracks off the album were meeh but now that I've heard the rest of the album I'm f$*@!n impressed absolutely love Icarus and devolution and this track was amazing too

I think after some thought and consideration, Otherworldly has now officially taken my favorite Starset love song and dethroned Halo. While I have one tiny complaint after repeated listens where it sounds like a cup was being placed on a table a couple times during the pre-chorus part, the bridge shook my very soul.
I know the track has a heavy emphasis on the sprouting of indescribable affection for someone to begin caring about.
For me, it's more of a journey where those that seem to care and relate to you leave such an impact on your life that it lifts you to places that you either never felt or haven't felt for years. Sure it can be love, but even the friends you make and stick with along the way can guide you when they shed their own light your direction. Even when you can't explain it...you feel loved.
