    Your peperomia are lovely! I'm waiting on my scandens to come in! I like the green except variegated. And i also have the pepperomia ginny. New to indoor plants but i have about 35 and I'm going to get more! So calming and serene for me. Happy planting! June frome California

    I’ve use found you and subscribed. I have about half the ones you mentioned in your video plus a couple more. When I first started buying peperomia I really struggled with them, and possibly from underwatering (Hoyas are my main passion) but I finally found them a place in a western window and they have loved the long sunny evenings we had over the summer. I recently bought a tiny peperomia lime at a nearby garden centre. I thought it was an odd name, but loved that subtle variegation on the leaves, but today you have told me the full name, an Obama pixie lime, so now I can label it properly. I learnt lots about the genus thankyou. X

      Thank you for watching and subscribing! 🥰 I love Hoyas as well, I haven’t got as many but they’re definitely up there with my faves! Glad I was able to help you ID the orba 😊💚🌱

    Hi, Amy - I'm late to the party on this one🤦🏽‍♀️ Anyway, all your peps are amazing! Nick from Philly Foliage got me hooked on peperomia a couple years ago and I got a bunch and killed a bunch! I knew nothing, of course. Since then, I've gotten a bit better at maintaining them. I have quite few of the ones you showcased, but none of them are as lovely as yours! My favorites are the incana and polybotrya (probably because I'm best with them😉). You've inspired me to do more chops & props to fill out my pots! Thanks for sharing! (Oh, special congrats on your Pixie Lime - have lost count on how many inhale bought and murdered!) 💚🪴💚👏🏽👏🏽

    Hi Amy, how's your new job? My Aldi Pixie Lime has started to go black and rot, I'm gutted. I've managed to save half of it, and I've propped quite a few bits from it, but what's caused it heaven knows. Yours looks great ! I'm gathering you're saying to keep them fairly dry, and only water when the leaves become more bendy? I have a few of your varieties, but I have a terrible time keeping a lot of the others happy. I have Raindrop, Obtusifolia, Watermelon and the Pixie Lime, but most I've bought before have melted, so I'd love to learn to keep them more succesfully ! 🌿💚

    • @Amysgreenishthumb
      @Amysgreenishthumb  10 месяцев назад

      Hi Marion! It’s good thank you I’m glad to have started ☺️ oh no!! That’s exactly what happened to the first one I had, maybe they are a more rot prone peperomia? All of mine I leave until the leaves are much thinner, all the ones you’ve listed you can wait until the leaves can almost bend in half, but if they feel like they would snap if you tried that then they don’t need a drink, I hope that make sense and I think I’m gonna film a separate care video for them ☺️ hopefully your pixie lime cuttings and the half you saved continue to grow 💚 thank you for watching 🥰💚🌱

    Hi amy, how frequently do you water the peperomias (no. Of days approximately) ? I find them tricky because they tend to rotten at my care.

    • @Amysgreenishthumb
      @Amysgreenishthumb  10 месяцев назад

      I don’t go by number of days as that can change depending on so many things, I go by how the leaves feel, especially with the more succulent ones you can wait until you see wrinkling in the leaves, or bend them a bit and see if they feel soft and flexible, and that’s how I decide when to water, if the leaves are still firm I don’t water them, and if you’re in doubt leave them a couple of days longer, I hope that’s helpful and I think I’m going to film a separate care video, thank you very much for watching ☺️💚

      I mix cactus soil with a small amount of potting soil and extra petite. They really like this mix and it drains well. I rotted a few before I tried this.

    Great video! I promise, one your incana takes off, it’ll grow like a weed - I have multiple pots now because I keep having to chop it back. 😊
    Also, I think the eBay seller misnamed your velvet tree - from what I can tell it should be Peperomia vestita var. lindenii. I’ve never seen one before but now it’s on my list!

      Thank you so much 😊 ahhhh I hope so it’s one of my faves!!!
      Ooh yes I have heard to called the Peperomia vestita too and forgot to mention, I can’t tell if it’s two different, very similar looking Peperomia or if it’s name has changed, thank you for reminding me! 😊💚
