They are irreversible because the masses are in support of it although the case of Gabon is different because it's the fifth most prosperous country in Africa despite the elitist corruption over there, but Niger' s case is that of total and abject poverty that the president and family drinks water from France, eats food from France, have properties in France while they have mostly youthful population living on a boulevard of broken dreams, same in Mali, same in Burkina Faso, guinea is a bit different also and many other Africans are calling for more coups because democracy and politicians have failed the people totally, democracy is responsible for more wars, corruption and poverty in Africa because things were not this worse in the days of military era in Africa, people were not dreaming of going to Europe or America because they were satisfied with what they had then, but democracy came and stole people's dreams, savings, lives etc from them and they are looking for greener pastures here and there, that's definition of democracy in Africa
So much corruption in African countries, why every politician are so hungry for money power. So much can be done in African countries with their resources, abundant manpower, still no progress. There was a revolution leader of Libya. He did tried to progress the society, improved agriculture with cross country water pipeline from underground reservoirs, had oil resources. But the western countries doesn't want the Africa to progress, they just want us to slave and run countries with foreign aid. Why the world is so hateful and self centred at the expenses of the poor 😫
I am a student of political science and it was a fantastic deconstruction of a complex event like coup and dare I say this should be included in syllabi in universities and colleges
Palki the work you are doing is amazingg, creating such informative content when everyone else is just being noisy .The team that does research for these videos deserve applause too
They're trying to brainwash India into a communist society. Our media though they are working on a new identity for India they will never report actual news or negative stuff impacting the public cause they don't t want to upset the slave owners.
For the next 5 minutes, you are not a viewer, but an ambitious, shady general. You heard Palki Sharma boys. Write these down. Write these down. Time is of the essence. 📝📝
Brilliant investigative journalism - NY times, Washington Post, BBC would never do this kind of quality journalism.. Well Done Palki and First Post.. I have a new name for First Post - Truth Post..
Thank you for the great piece. I am a Bangladeshi American. I have been following the recent coup in Pakistan of the government of Imran Khan. I think in Bangladesh and Turkey they figured out a way to prevent future coups by putting your own people inside the military intelligence and also keeping the top military leadership comfortable. I think this is where Imran Khan and Egypt’s Morsi failed.
This was a question in my mind ever since I first heard of a coup Be it the pronunciation or the concept both was out of my grasp Finally even without asking somebody and perhaps the best one out there, Palki answered my question. Thankyou so much for telling and explaining to us the untold and the unexplained 👍👍 🧡🧡🧡🧡 Rightly said "The best way to prevent it is to stop the 1st one"
Palki, your style of journalism is really beautiful. You inform and take your time to even explain terminologies and stuff to your viewers. It's really really cool. It's clearly shows that you make the effort to reach all educational levels of viewers. It's very different from other ignorant journalists who feel only college graduates should understand what they are saying. Keep on keeping on!
Palki ji, please analyse a few more such coups in South Asia, such as in Bangladesh when Mujibur Rahman was assassinated, and in Sri Lanka when the president ran away.
@@Ankh-he3wi. Absolutely, don’t do it , because , a military coup is like , a group of gangsters trying to take over the street , even if they are successful, they have to watch their back because their is someone else who want to get rid off your gangs .
@@victoredwards3959our president came to pawa not through elections and has ruled for 4 decades, of cos when ur in pawa u can manipulate any national elections. The west will always call it democratic as usual but in reality 😢😢😢. I support coups coz the incumbents are not elected democratically, rather they manipulate to decoy Sharm elections 😊😊😊
And more to that it's common in Africa coz it's were there's no free will to change pawa , apart from a few like S.A and Kenya, the rest out there a fewer
There is an alternate learning in this. If there is a coup, become a state with dictatorship permanently, never ever accept the 2 year 3 year transition period.
Do you think the coups in Niger and Gabon are reversible?

It's a question of when coz no dictator survived for long
