If you enable developer options you can speed up those animations for opening apps. I put mine at 0.5 and it's twice as fast. Makes it super snappy. Also you can put it at 0 and have it instantly switch, but it looks weird.
Lol I'm currently on an A30s I love A-Series Devices so much. When is Sammy Gonna release the Next one? They've been focused on the M-Series So much Recently and Its ok but I Feel the A-series need a New device I understand that they make up for this by having Sub devices like the A11 and A42 but it would be Nice to Have a Clean Device Maybe an A100 or an A1000?

@@froznfire9531 S10 is still a very good phone. There is no need to upgrade every year imo. I like iPhone 12 pro max a lot. Very consistent performance, great pictures and even better videos. Its optical zoom is ok, but I wish there was more. Also, there is no macro camera (which is a nice addition to S21 ultra). The screen is beautiful and smooth (despite the lack of 120 Hz). I hate both notches and black holes - I hope they will disappear eventually xD I didn’t want to wait for the S21 and also I feel very comfortable with iOS. That’s why I decided to go with iP12 pro max. The only thing that worries me about Samsung is their lack of optimisation and inconsistency. Last year was pretty bad in that regard - Exynos regions were getting a significantly worse phone. It looks very promising this year though... and their hardware is superb. Next year might bring some nice developments. Exciting times!

I'm planning on switching from the XR to the S21 Ultra. Still am willing to be convinced for either side, but this looks more like what I'm looking for alongside the better video camera on the Ultra

It don't jump from 10hz to 120hz, it jumps *ALWAYS from 60hz to 120hz.*
You can visualize the Refresh rate in the Developers Option. Activate It, scroll down to Debugging, than turn On:
*"Display Refresh Rate"*
*Then you can see the Refreshing numbers 60or120hz on the upper left side.*
I even found out, that if you turn the Brightness to under 6% then the Adaptive Mode don't move at all, it Locks on 120hz. #TryIt
That's exactly why these Adaptive Mode don't Fits with these tests,
