I have a good friend who's a manager at a GameStop. Basically told me until Sony said something about them, they were outright selling Cronuses and other Xim style cheat devices. He wasn't proud of it because he said they were perpetually sold out and full well knew that they were actively fueling the cheating problem. It's way more common than most people even realize.

When I switched over from Xbox to PC, I played a lot of siege with controller for the first couple of months. That skill got me as high as low silver. When I finally switched over to mouse and keyboard, I was able to get to high emerald low diamond. The difference is massive.
Aiming with your thumbs is more tough than aiming with every muscle in your arm but pc players will never accept that and just keep saying that “controllers are aimbot” which couldnt be more than far from the truth when the mnk players really have an advantage in every lobby they join with a controller player plus cheating is far more easier to accomplish on pc then it is on console

Most FPS/Shooter games on console just lower sens when you are aimed over a target to help stay on them. Some (Like COD) will move slightly in the direction the target is moving. It definitely helps keep you on target but it does not lock on in anyway. Mouse is definitely more efficient to point and click than a thumbstick. But aim assist is definitely not doing most of the work lol

It's called silent aim, it's a mechanic where the bullet teleports to the player model that's within their fov circle that is overlaid on their screen. If it's a good cheat it will have a sight line verification so that when they shoot and someone is behind a wall silent aim doesn't just activate and will shoot normally, that's why most users use it to act more discrete verses blatant users will also have aimbot turned on, thus locking on to whatever hitbox/ bone line is listed in their menu settings
I watched a game where my legitimate silver friend had a cheater on his team openly discussing his boosting services. They were also on the phone describing to others how they accept payment. My friend did everything he could to interrupt the cheater but they were so blatantly cheating shooting people through walls... checked a week later and they still aren't banned

The saddest thing is that I never had problems with cheaters in previous seasons. I’m normally in Diamond+ lobbies and somehow had little to no run-ins with cheaters. This season I ran into 8 cheaters on the first day. Hurricane Beryl has kept me off my PC the last few days, but I don’t expect it to get better when the power comes back…
Idk if it'll work but they should make it so you can submit your match Replay to a website where people in the community including Devs can watch and comment and vote weather it's a Cheater or not it would mean that r6 RUclipsrs like varsetiy can make videos on meaning it would get more traffic
As a lifelong Halo player, aim assist and bullet magnetism exist just to make the experience easier. Controllers and M&K should never be paired into a single matchmaking service. The two require completely different balancing techniques and really aren’t comparable.

They’re different and shouldn’t be treated the same.

Apex has probably the "best" (worst) case of console/controller aim assist where all stats show accuracy being heavily better on controller and Apex is the only game that has those kind of stats. The Aim assist in apex for controller is literal hacks and they have cross platform lobbies.

From what i know from learning bits of machine learning, more data don't always make the model better, especially if the data is useless to begin with. My guess is they don't bother making more complex model and just add more nodes and hope for the best. I would probably do the same since I'm as lazy.
Common mistake PC players make is assuming that “because you use controller it’s for or it has aim assist.” Many many games now days allow controller players to turn off aim assist. Generally the best console players use those options because aim assist is not helpful to a good player. Many things can cause issues but nothing is more annoying then aiming at another player and having a random player run in front and pull your aim off just enough to lose the fight. So myself and lots of players on console will turn off the aim assist settings if that is an option to make aiming easier.
Silent aim - Someone can shoot a different direction but the bullets still hit. This is caused by an aimbot that is looking at their target, while the player can separately look any other direction. Soft aim - Essentially just stronger aim assist. Its an aimbot with loose parameters and maybe a release area. Silent aim can be incredibly hard to detect, because it can look like lag, plus they can have their settings super tuned to the point where you wouldnt even question it to begin with.
You said the max you should go from two seasons should be two ranks. On my first season playing I went from Unraked to Plat so looking at data like that would be not so accurate and I don't think it would be worth to maybe after finding something that sticks out in stats to check it manually. So they just don't bother with it
Controller really can’t compete with PC. I have about the same K/D on console and PC, and my aim on PC is so much better with a lot less play time. Top PC players are a different level

For match 1, its most likely lag, match replay isn't perfect but I've had the same thing happen where I would be aiming not where the enemy is and still get a kill, lag does play a huge part in the replay
Kali was def using soft aims AKA magnetic bullets. Bad ping doesn't give you a gunfight advantage over the enemy team, unless everyone on the enemy team was playing on McDonald's wifi. Safe to say it is more likely Kali was simply using soft aim.
The term you’re looking for in the beginning is “bullet magnetism” it’s basically like the bullets curving towards the target like a magnet, not like aim assist which slows the players sensitivity when looking at an enemy
When are Ubi going to acknowledge the cheaters, honestly, it has been YEARS that they have been rampant at this point, it has peaked in the last 8-12 months and it absolutely vile that Ubi havent done a dedicated update on it, pathetic company.
Honestly, the one thing cheaters could do that would hide it so much would be to stop using walls. It's always a dead giveaway when they look at enemies through walls or they clearly know where people are. If they turned the walls off, their movement and decisions would be legit. All they'd have to do would be use a hardcore aimbot that would win them every gunfight, and it would be a LOT harder to tell.
From Game 1: i feel its better call it similar to bullet magnetism like in Halo or Destiny 2. The bullets are more 'drawn' to a specified area. Or it could be hitbox manipulation where at least on his side the IQ is massive. Cant tell without the cheat behaviour in front of me

Silent aim can be incredibly hard to detect, because it can look like lag, plus they can have their settings super tuned to the point where you wouldnt even question it to begin with.
You said the max you should go from two seasons should be two ranks. On my first season playing I went from Unraked to Plat so looking at data like that would be not so accurate and I don't think it would be worth to maybe after finding something that sticks out in stats to check it manually. So they just don't bother with it

For match 1, its most likely lag, match replay isn't perfect but I've had the same thing happen where I would be aiming not where the enemy is and still get a kill, lag does play a huge part in the replay
Kali was def using soft aims AKA magnetic bullets. Bad ping doesn't give you a gunfight advantage over the enemy team, unless everyone on the enemy team was playing on McDonald's wifi. Safe to say it is more likely Kali was simply using soft aim.
The term you’re looking for in the beginning is “bullet magnetism” it’s basically like the bullets curving towards the target like a magnet, not like aim assist which slows the players sensitivity when looking at an enemy

When are Ubi going to acknowledge the cheaters, honestly, it has been YEARS that they have been rampant at this point, it has peaked in the last 8-12 months and it absolutely vile that Ubi havent done a dedicated update on it, pathetic company.
Honestly, the one thing cheaters could do that would hide it so much would be to stop using walls. It's always a dead giveaway when they look at enemies through walls or they clearly know where people are. If they turned the walls off, their movement and decisions would be legit. All they'd have to do would be use a hardcore aimbot that would win them every gunfight, and it would be a LOT harder to tell.
Mnk is better the roller in terms of skill but r6 is proof that we can handle playing against mnk kids as frustrating as it is, we still can
The reason that cheaters are so prominent is because of the version of BattlEye that Siege uses is completely outdated by years.

From Game 1: i feel its better call it similar to bullet magnetism like in Halo or Destiny 2. The bullets are more 'drawn' to a specified area. Or it could be hitbox manipulation where at least on his side the IQ is massive. Cant tell without the cheat behaviour in front of me

The first match, he wasn't using any type of aim assist, this is how bad the hit reg or hit box's have become, and nobody is bringing this up as an issue because to everyone its an easy bs kill, i've had it happen to myself and the enemy's that kill me
console player who finally started playing siege on pc, im trying to improve but ranked is impossible to play since there’s literally cheaters in over half my games, some blatant on fresh accounts and people tracking and shooting through floors and walls, it’s exhausting and standard is getting boring since i can’t get the full ranked experience

Okay, Cheating is bad, however, what if, hear me out, in an enclosed environment for purely entertainment purposes, it might not be so bad. I.E. lets stick Varsity on one team, completely by himself, and then get a team formed of like champ or pros or whatever high skill 5 players on the other team. And just give Varsity a new cheat each match. Because I find it so weird how someone can be bad with cheats. Id watch that video, hands down. Anyonr else want to watch it or just me?

They just need to implement Serial Number BAN. If you get banned on serial number you need a new hard-drive or a new PC/laptop/PS. It would especially be great for console but for PC/Laptops also. There is no way to get a new serial number without spending money.
