It’s not just Rob, it’s Jeanie and the Rambi, that’s a Botox and Ozempic circus. They care more about keeping those appointments than preparing for the trade deadline and off season trades to make our team better. All season we kept referring to how Rob pivoted 4️⃣ seasons ago to make us a championship squad after Kawhi shot us down. He hasn’t been able to pivot like that since then.

Lakers should do within their range after James contract. These players like Klay etc. you need flexibility in the roster to sign them instead of sign and trade which is complicated due to new NBA rules (CBA). Lakers should go for small meaningful players who can be in their range for sign and trade.
This had like been a “let’s hate the lakers off szn” like they’re trying to push a “we wanted to win” narrative for buddy heild but the truth of the matter is that buddy didn’t sign because we already invested in reaves and max and drafted Knecht4 and here was he gon play? this is stupid. It happened before during the kobe era. The issue is that there are teams out there that specifically will not trade with the lakers, (spurs both with them being part of the group that went to nag stern for the veto, and with pop refusing to trade kawhi to LA). The fans that are pushing for a trade are just pushing for more mistakes like the ramon sessions rental (lose a first, the nash trade, mozgov and deng signings out of desperation and for recent history look at the crap trades that blew up the 2020 championship team, oh not to mention the westbrook trade.
LA is a great city but it’s not the draw it used to be.

Nobody wants to play for Lebron and the Lakers because it's become a Soap Opera!!! Combine that with the fact that California has the highest state tax in the nation. Combine that with the fact that if the Lakers are good, you will get little credit, if any at all. All credit goes to Lebron and AD. But if things go sour, those 2 guys get very little of the criticism. And there's a good chance that you, as a 3rd wheel, will be looked upon as part of the reason things went sour. Or you haven't done your job or just not good enough. Is That Fair??? These are things other players have to weigh when thinking about joining the Lakers. It's not just one factor, it's a combination of factors. And there are quite a few more. Why deal with any of it, if you don't have to??? Especially if you are a descent player with a reputation to protect. The only thing Laker fans see is what they want. They totally disregard any of the facts that I just mentioned. This is what makes them and the organization seem delusional.

The Lakers were a train wreck before LeBron came to the Lakers. This luster fans think comes with the Lakers brand was built by the late, great, Dr. Jerry Buss. When he died, the Lakers were in shambles. Jim Buss had to sign Luol Deng and Timofey Mozgov just to get the media talking about the Lakers again. Of course if you were watching Golden State you missed it. The only reason the Lakers are talked about and even remotely relevant is because of LeBron, and when he's gone, the Lakers become the Pistons.

LeBron and the LeBronsexuals want another title because they’re chasing MJ. They need another star to do that and that requires giving up draft capital. The team’s goal is to build a strong team that will compete for years to come. That requires the team to keep its picks. The team’s goals come first. Fans need to accept that we’re not winning anything for a few years. We have to be patient and let the team build.
