This mod conversion is a blessing in the skies. Before this i had really bad mods but after the patch i’ve been getting awesome rolls… gold weapon dmg and crit damage sub galore.
glad u were able to get that, so far i have not had the best luck. i am kind of at the min max stage so i expected it. i am just trying for weapon damage and crit damage on all mods so i have been trying to roll for violent and hoping for weapon damage also.
Lucky ... I converted a lot of mods and had not a single good roll (all with fixed sufix). Plus by converting mods like this, you lose a lot upgrade mats. It's ok if you don't have a specific mod at all, everything after that is pure gambling and not efficient on the long run - in my opinion.
Small 'contribution', you can use the random suffix to try and 'convert' your wrong suffix mods into the one you want as you can pick any mods to roll random. So if you have a load of mods you can RNG them into Mods. Ofcourse it's poo odds but if you've no need for your bad mods and plenty of Energy Link it's an option. This is also how you can get non-suffixed mods, so a mod without violent/precision/talents, if you really needed one of those for some reason :D. The best 'rarity odds' I've spotted has been "Guaranteed to Appear: Epic, Rarity Minimum: common". So a guaranteed purple and zero grey rolls, this was in the random suffix rolling but not sure if just because way more mods available to pick from(so I had access to way more high roll mods) or if random suffix has a chance at a higher 'floor' for rarity. There are also mods that *cannot* roll certain suffixes. For example Frosty Blessing cannot roll precision mod, but you can random suffix craft them so you can then use precision mods to craft Frosty Blessing and roll it Violent/Talent/non-suffix. Shit odds, but an option to get rid of shit mods you don't use and still go for something you might use.
This is good for unusable mods but I'm not rerolling my weapon dmg mod just to get violent on it and risk losing weapon dmg.... But don't worry we'll being doing alot of mod farming now since they killed doombringer...
what even is fun at the moment? Since the Doombriger nerf, I don't even feel like playing the game anymore. I mean I have other builds but none is as fun as doom used to be...

I've been gaming for decades and there will always be the community that cry like crazy whenever something gets nerfed. I always tell them, if you can't handle nerfs don't play persistent online games then. Stick to single player.

for anyone with a good server you can grind pro prime wars for lots of shrapnel suffix and bulls eye suffix the targeted strike suffix is busted you can get +25% crit dmg against marked enemies(gold) or +25% shrapnel crit damage respectivly and man is it nice these damage type suffix's can ONLY be on mask and weapon mods btw
idk seems super expensive, at least with the boss farm you're gaining instead of paying (outside of ammo and repairs which is a nonissue if you're running steel.) I may do it just to try but dont see myself spending alot on it just to minmax an already very efficient build. Thanks for showing how it works tho!
It’s a more guaranteed method so of course it’s gonna cost a bit. Also you can’t take your EL in to the next season so as long as you have enough to buy all the starcrom at the end (400k) the rest is a waste.
Not really, what are you gonna do with all these unused mods? This gacha is just giving you a way to get rid of it while a chance to roll for a new mod.

Bounces mod might actually be really good. When y do content with high mob count. The mob y shoot takes less damage but all around it dies then the mob y shoot dies after. Many times in bounce target y shoot dies before the target of bounce. Then y need to change target y shoot and that target might not be as good position to spread bounces allover the other mobs.
Depends. Bounce is good on every bounce gun but the sniper lol. That 80% chance is a lie its more like 25 or 50 whatever the heck the mood is. It should be 100% as youre already needing to hit weakspot of trashmobs. But the sad thing is your bounce end too too and yes I have the mods n pants.

Hybrid between crit and weakspot is not good option. And with smg going 25% bonce chance to 60% with weakspot shot is big cab. something like 33% to 66% would be better.

Btw you can remove the mod by clicking the red button - when ur selecting the mods in mod conversion (when you have mods already selected and you wanted to remove one for a different one because of auto fill)

I don't mind the complexity. What I don't like is literally everything has an RNG aspect to it. You don't have control over anything completely. You can slightly increase the odds but at the end of the day it's lucky and grinding.

Problem is that their changes fucked more than the doombringer, fast gunner's legendary key item is completely useless now, the whole point was to get very fast reloads, which aren't a thing anymore. Serious question ,because i cant seem to get an real answer, Season phases how do they work and why are some at 3-4-5 when im stuck at 1 ? Fairly new to the game and geniunly no idea how they work. are those the 6 week "wipe" cycles ? I know what i keep and loose its just what are those phases

I'm not sure if it was by chance or if that's how to works but I put mods with Elemental dmg, magazine expansion and 2 random stats and I got the 2 guaranteed that I wanted for burn so don't randomly put substats in Ig?
Don’t they take into account the sub stats from each mod so if you have weapon damage on all of them you have a higher chance to get the weapon damage.
Heyhey, since when i am doing it right, i have one garanteed stat (e.g. crit dmg) and some garanteed rarity (depending what i have). but the additional 3 stats are still random, right?

But doing this at the end of the season when people are out of controllers already and farming is done, makes it pretty useless and a sour taste. 40 Controllers deep into Arachnae just to get a half decent PVP mod for both guns, upgrading & scrapping endless mods praying, just for them to release this. Mod Conversion also seems to roll double species damage extremely often. Can't ever escape 1 useless species damage roll on normal farming either.

Who wants to do 1 min silo runs to get mods to make that time even shorter? There is no part of the game other than these poi boss runs. So why do you want to make it as short as possible? What are you grinding for? The grind IS the game. So why build so aggressive that the content is done in seconds? If you have an inferior build and cannot aim like a bot then maybe you can actually play and die and run away cause theres danger. Isnt that more fun than botting enemies in seconds?

2:27 you can go back into the mod selection screen and re-select (de-select) the mod from the mod conversion UI. You do not have to cancel fully.

its okay the way it is tbh, enhanced mods just disassemble them if u no longer use them and get refunded mod parts.

Yeah wtf? I was about to buy the Doombringer Blueprint but was missing 1000 Starchrom. Decided to go for the Lonewolf Set instead. Just a few hours later the Doombringer nerf droppen. Holy shit im lucky 🤣

So people work so hard and grind and rng just to be able to burn down bosses in 30 seconds. Is that fun? It seems the more in depth these theory crafters get the less game they actually play.
Who wants to do 1 min silo runs to get mods to make that time even shorter? There is no part of the game other than these poi boss runs. So why do you want to make it as short as possible?
What are you grinding for? The grind IS the game. So why build so aggressive that the content is done in seconds?
If you have an inferior build and cannot aim like a bot then maybe you can actually play and die and run away cause theres danger. Isnt that more fun than botting enemies in seconds?
