Chicken Bean And Barley Soup

- This is a really hardy soup. Its great comfort food. It has a mild flavor and is very filling. Its easy to make for a crowd or to make to put up in jars and put on the shelf for a rainy day. Or Any day.
What you will need:
I used
3 Chicken Breast Boiled, Chopped
4 Cups Chopped Carrots
4 Ribs Of Celery, Chopped
1 Small Onion, Chopped
1 TBS Of Dried Parsley
1/8 Tsp Of Pepper
1 Can of Cannellini Beans, Drained And Rinsed
1/2 Cup Cooked Pearled Barley
1 TBS of Chicken Base
1 Medium Sized Yukon Gold Potato Chopped
2 Cups Water
Boil Chicken Breast, Then Set Aside To Cool, Chop. Cook Barley, Set Aside
Add All Ingredients To A Stew pot And Bring To A Boil. Lower To A Simmer And Serve, Or Ladle Into Jars For Canning.
Can In Pressure Cooker, 1 Hour And 15 Minutes for Pints And 1 Hour And 30 Minutes For Quarts.
